Room 26, I cannot wait to come back to your wonderful hotel. I am athritic and found everything about this room 'easy to use'. The staff were very helpful, the location of the facilities were withinwalking distance to town and the meals were excellant. Staff were brilliant one guy actually took us outside in the snow to direct us to town. The beds were fabulous. The setting, service, room and the comfortable bed. Staff also very friendly and helpful.

There was a discrepancy between the rate offered in the booking and the rate stated by the hotel.The old doors inside the building and the smell in the corridors. Creaking floor board near door!. Thought that the price of wine was very expensive. we were in a room on the groung floor and we could hear the floor boards creaking everytime someone walked upstairs. and someone put their tv on abit to loud in the morning.very noisy creaky floorboards upstairs which woke us up. Bathroom was in need of modernisation and the shower cubicle's sliding doors didn't fully extend, making entry somewhat difficult. Bar prices were a bit on the expensive side.The only negative thing I would say was that on booking in the receptionist was a bit condescending in that she kept telling us that the hotel was very busy. When I looked at the room she allotted us it was on 2nd floor and I actually booked garden room. When I tried to order dinner I was more or less told it could be 6pm or nothing as they were busy. This kind of spoiled the luxury of hotel. restaurant prices a little steep for what it was.Wine prices definately too high.Could not fault the hotel. meal at night could have been better / hotter. We had a meal in the conservatory which took too long. I would have liked it if the spa facilities were available on a Sunday.Final room did have some black mould problems and a rusty pole for the shower curtain. I had to ask for a dirty table cloth to be changed at breakfast. For four star, probably needed an upgrade to TV quality. I thought the service during breakfast, ie clearing dirty plates beforethe next course was started ,could have been better.On arrival we found that our original specification (garden room) hadbeen altered to another, high standard room. The staff very quicklymanaged to find a garden room for us, although we had to wait until ithad been valeted. The piano! Went to a friend's hotel (overbooked for us) for dinner due to other guests comments. Clearly, they are professional whingers who pretend to have ridiculously high standards in their sad little lives. Thoroughly misleading comments; wished we had ignored them. the restraunt was being refurbished. Service in the restaurant was a little slow.

- Driving over Kessock Bridge, go straight across the first roundabout and head south on the A9 for one mile.
- Take the slip road off the A9, marked Aberdeen A96.
- At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit marked Inverness B865.
- At the next roundabout take the first exit marked Kingsmills. Carry on this road for 1/2 mile and turn right at the mini roundabout.
- You will pass Inverness Golf Club on the left and the Kingsmills Hotel is on the left, just past the traffic lights.

From the A9 (south):
- Entering Inverness, take the slip road on the left (after you drive under the flyover) marked Culduthel and Kingsmills.
- At the roundabout, take the 5th exit marked Kingsmills.
- Follow the road for one mile to a mini roundabout, and go straight ahead following signs for Kingsmills.
- You will pass Inverness Golf Club on the left and the Kingsmills Hotel is on the left just past the traffic lights.

From the A96 (east):
- Pass Inverness Business Retail Park (Tesco) on the left-hand side.
- At the roundabout, take the second exit marked Inverness B865.
- At the next roundabout take the first exit marked Kingsmills, and carry on this road for 1/2 mile and turn right at the mini roundabout.
- You will pass Inverness Golf Club on the left and the Kingsmills Hotel is on the left just past the traffic lights.

From the A82 (west):
- Follow signs for Inverness on the A82.
- On entering Inverness you will be on Glen Urquhart Road
- This will then take you onto Tomnahurich Street. You will then come to the Ness Bridge, across the bridge you will come to a set of traffic lights.
- Go straight ahead at the lights and proceed up Castle Street past McDonalds.
- Take the first left at the top of the hill after the traffic lights onto Old Edinburgh Road, go straight through the traffic lights and on to Annfield Road.
- At the junction, turn left onto Culcabock Road and the Kingsmills Hotel is on the right-hand side.
