  Everything. Friendly, comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order, and generally excellent, with kippers (first rate) an option, proper butter on the tables (not thoe horrible pre-packaged stuff), exceellent "rustic" wholemeal toast, and full size jars of home-made (or similar) marmalade, jams amnd lemon curd. Three small criticisms re breakfast -... what people say » the sausges were what I call children's sausages - bland texture (perhaps a proper size, flavoursome adult one could be offered as an option?);the on - Owners Deborah and Gwynfor were a delight. Gwynfor in particular was very helpful and a wonderful story-teller. The B&B was well situated just outside Harlech - providing a peaceful countryside setting whilst being very close to restaurants etc. in the nearby town. Our children enjoyed the bunk beds in the family room compared to having to share a double bed in our previous (and more upmarket!) hotel in Liverpool.

  Me and my girlfirend aged both 24, thought the hotel was excellent. The owners were friendly and really made you feel welcome. They left freshly made cakes and biscuits daily in our room and fresh milk in a fridge on the landing that we could also use for our beer/wine. The breakfast was great, big helpings and of great quality and local produce. ... what people say » What really made the breakfast extra special was the fresh home baked bread that was still warm when we arrived to our table. The room was spacious, v - We loved the room - it was up in the attic and you had to bend a bit to get into all the corners, but it was beautifully decorated with many period features, great views, it's own entrance (via spiral staircase) and very comfy, big bed. We also loved the breakfasts with the homemade, fresh, warm bread. There were complimentary robes and slippers and instead of little packets of biscuits you got a different homemade cake every day on your tea tray.

Everything was clean and breakfast was really nice. Beds are very comfortable and the views from the rooms are amazing. Anne was a lovely host and she made our stay very special. If we go back to Harlech, we will stay there again.
