  The whole stay was one of the best I have ever had. The rooms have just been refurbished and were excellent. The food was of such excellent quality and I seriously thought I was in a top hotel-the presentation and variety was excellent. the staff could not do enough for you. The manager was new but very efficient and the owner really cared and we ... what people say » had a problem and wanted to do his best to sort it out-it was the water and he even offered for us to use one of the other rooms. Excellent service. W - The staff were exceptional, especially the three young females who were barstaff/waitresses on the night that I was there who couldn't have been more helpful. There was a good choice of food and beer, and the cheeseboard with a glass of port was exceptional

  Loved the location!!! Couldnt be nearer to the beach if we'd tried :) Also loved how friendly everyone was - staff and other families. Lots of other kids around and safe enough to let them all run free like Swallows and Amazons. Also loved the fossil hunting! And piratey decor in the hostel, and the kids loved the quizzes and treasure hunts. Basic... what people say » ally it was awesome and we had amazing beach weather :D - This youth hostel is a fabulous converted old mill that is situated about two minutes from the beach. It is warm,cosy with lots of comfortable settees, amazing decor throughout and a wonderful bar,coffee area. The food is excellent and the staff are so friendly and helpful that nothing is too much trouble for them. We had a brilliant weekend.Thankyou.
