  Friendly folk running the inn. The atmosphere was relaxed, easy going chique and thoughtful. Our bedroom & ensuite was cosy clean and the bed was comfy- lovely decor; so far removed from the buildings original use as a stable/ skittle alley! I'm sure it could tell some tales! The inn is in the middle of the village, and so wonderfully peaceful... what people say » . I would highly recommend the inn. - What a friendly comfortable place to stay. Beautiful room, with nothing missing - excellent bar - fantastic food - both dinner and breakfast outstanding. Friendly locals. Ideal for us, far enough away from Taunton to be on our own but close enough for a short drive to the cricket. If you're coming to watch Somerset or for the ECB youth programme at Kings - consider staying here.
