  Everything about Old Downton Lodge was perfect. We could not have wished for a better place to have stayed. David the Manager came to greet us as we arrived and his friendly, courteous manner continued throught our stay. The setting was stunning and the atmosphere was warm and relaxed whilst providing guests with that something special. We will de... what people say » finatley be recommending Old Downton Lodge and returning ourselves. - WOW, it was divine Willem and Pippa looked after us with charm and courtesy. The setting is quiet and peaceful and the restored ancient buildings are indescribably beautiful. The large guest lounge with a fire would be wonderful for a group booking and the dinners we had were first class. We will recommend it to all our friends
