  My husband and I loved everything. Richard and Shelly are everything you would ever want in innkeepers! Friendly, accommodating, fun warm and inviting. Richard gave us a great lesson in beer, with so many tastings I got tipsy! Sue makes an incredible breakfast, we had dietary restrictions and what she came up with we are still talking about. We couldn't ask for more...the locals were so warm, readily engaging us in discussion.We count our time there - We had a very friendly welcome. We arrived about 7pm expecting to be able to order a meal, unfortunately they stop serving at 6pm on Sundays (9pm other nights). Seeing how diappointed we were the young woman went to ask the landlord if he could reccomend somewhere or provide a sandwich. Richard very kindly made us fish and chips, which were excellent and so very welcome after a full day on the road. Everyone was friendly and the pub has a lovely atmosphere.
