I liked the very friendly staff, nothing seem to bother them. Tommy the manager is a credit to all managers. He worked morning to night and could still join in and get guest up to dance at the hogmany/new years parties. Lovely room with sea views. Spacious and comfortable. Value for money excellent. Staff were helpful and the food plentiful and good quality. Would be very happy to return. Reccomended.

It was bad choice made by us mislead by the pics on your site.It existed. Tho most of the food was good.....the meat was never cooked enough.Would have liked a phone in the room. Food and Breakfast not great. Corridors in hotel smelled of stale food.The staff should be better trained on the tourist attractions in the area and things like transportation within the island and the area given that is one of the entry points into Skye from the mainland. I dont think they should be allowed in the dining area.The area around the building specially the back towards the sea should be made tidy. paint cracking off ceiling, tv remote not working, dirty under the bed. overall if these were corrected it would be a lovely hotel to stay in...the washbasins/sinks/bath tubs/taps/heating system were old fasion. the water was either too hot or too cold. Rooms and bathroom were very cold, very unpleasent.TV was not working. Hotel is a bit on the shabby side but you pay for what you get. Room wasn't very clean with obvious coffee cup marks on bedside table. Meals were poor. Menu said Haddock, chips + salad. No salad came - the reason why - it was a printing error. The menu was a piece of A4 paper printed out that day.The room looked out on a brick wall,and was basic,the tv picture was notperfect,to be honest we have stayed in far better rooms at blackpool,andpaid half the price. Standard of food was poor, a Little Chef would have been far superior to the Dunnollie. The noise of the children running around until 12 in the morning, and the state of the toilets in the lounge area. Faecal matter all over the floor. The room we had was not very clean and it was rather small. The wardrobe door would not close, a chair had to be placed against it to keep it shut - the tap on the hand basin dripped as did the showerhead.It is a pretty old hotel with poor rooms with no proper ventilation, bad condition of the toilet flush with no exhaust fan working. The rooms access was highly confusing and very uneasy to access. It was not at all worth the money we spent for the hotel. Normal BandBs would have been much better. How much room have I got. Dirty, dated, noisy, poor service.

After coming off the Skye Bridge, please take the A85 for Portree. Seven miles along the road you will reach Broadford. The hotel is on the left hand side, just after the turn off for the Old Harbour. Parking is available at the side of the hotel.

From A85 to the Mainland into Broadford, go past the right turn to the Old Harbour and the hotel is on the right hand side.
