This fully refurbished Grade II Listed hotel is opposite Brighton’s West Pier. It offers free WiFi and seafront accommodation, 15 minutes’ walk from Brighton Rail Station. Some of the rooms have traditional high ceilings, and retain 19th-century features. Some have en-suite bathroom facilities, and shared bathrooms are also available. Each also has a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Brighton’s shops, restaurants and seafront attractions are within walking distance. Guests can enjoy a full English breakfast at a nearby restaurant, for a surcharge. A public underground car park is available at an additional cost and limited local private parking can be arranged upon request and subject to a surcharge. Guests should note that the hotel does not accept stag or hen parties.

I have stayed at the Queensbury Hotel before as I merely needed a B&B for the night rather than travelling home. The previous room was adequate, in need of some decoration but clean none the less. I then booked this trip and again made my reservation at the Queensbury. The room I had this time was amazing! Newly fitted bathroom and power shower, nice furniture, TV, kettle, tea/coffee/biscuits and a comfy bed. I was woken up at 4am with some drunken revellers returning but the stay was great.
all reviews » The hotel is very conveniently located - close to an underground car park and the sea front. The room we had was great, clean with nice interior. The only let down was the view. As we were located below the ground level, we had a wall of the neighboring building as the window view. Apart from that everything was really good and we would be going back when visiting Brighton again. Lovely hotel that is a stones throw away from the Old Pier of Brighton. Super close under ground parking that turned out to be free because of current road works! Greay continental breakfast with a great range of cereals, spreads and juice. Spacious, clean and well light room! Lovely lobby. Would definitely stay again. We'll see you next year!. The hotel offers a great value for money! Very well located with friendly staff. If dealing with an old renovated building, there are no elevators, so attention to those who have heavy bags or difficulties in locomotion. I recommend!. Clean well equiped rooms have a very home from home feel. The hotel was near the beach and centre yet is located on a quite and has pretty garden square. Staff were young, friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was very spacious. Beautiful features and period decoration. It was just a lovely space. Free breakfast was good too. Toast, ham,cheese, cereals, fruit and juice etc. The staff was very friendly. Location ist just a short Talk form Pavillon, shops and the lanes. It ist the lanes best hotel i ever stayed at in the uk for that price. Excellent location, right on the seafront. Easy access to the town centre and plenty of car parks nearby. The location to the beach and the town are excellent, because the weather was so nice it was great to have the balcony to watch the sun go down over the sea. Mouldy milk cartons in room and badly chipped mugs - such cheap and simple things to rectify- but leave a bad impression. Wireless internet was touchy at times. Beds in large family room were more like futons (not so comfy). We were aware that our room could be on the third or fourth floor, and the hotel doesn't have a lif, it was right at the top of the hotel.The flights of stairs are not really suitable for elderly, the bannisters in places seemed very insecure. Wi-fi was not stable, bad accsess. Breakfast wasn't great, especially as they only had freeze-dried coffee. No lift Broken kettle Poor shower. I can understand why people don't like the stairs, we were two flights up and thought that was enough but saw that the stairs did go on to another floor. Waiting for a table to become free at breakfast was a bit awkward because we had to stand in the doorway and watch the other guests until someone left. The noise outside on the steps late at night and early morning and smoking comes through window because of constant smoking there too. The room needed to get some fresh air... Our bathroom sink hot water just trickled. Breakfast a bit basic. Shower and sink next to beds could be awkward if not a couple. Breakfast was a little lacking in choice . maybe more warm options or croissants etc. major crack in window, room tired. Early checkin deadline of 9pm. Duty manager called and asked why I hadn't checked in, London to Brighton after work by car is a 2.5 hour commute I replied. He reluctantly waited until 10.30 pm when I arrived. I thought it was 24 hour checkin most places these days?. -. The price is probably the going rate, but it did seem a little much for a 2 star hotel. There was a random beeping that kept us awake in the early morning - but we never worked out what it was and whether in or outside the hotel! Only a problem on the first night, and not sure we can blame the hotel!. The Pillows were dreadful,flat as pancakes. The room had a grotty view. The location-it is a long walk both to the train station and Kemp Town from this hotel. No fresh coffee for breakfast,just instant. shower waste dirty. very basic but for money good value. saw potential for hotel to be so much more.no sitting room area. Lots of stairs (we had to walk up 8 flights of them to get to our room!) Had ensuite, but the shower didn't work propery. However, we did let them know, so hopefully that is fixed now. Room was a little small and generally a little old and tired, but for what we paid, we didn't mind. The room was on the third floor so the water pressure so was poor, there was little more than a dribble from the hot tap and the shower wasn't great. Breakfast was poor .my partner is diabetic.there was no sweeteners for cereal or for tea and coffee. No cooked breskfast. Small room with basic furniture and very small shower. Basic continental breakfast. For English breakfast we needed to go to another hotel nearby. Four things: 1. room was in the attic up several flights of stairs (12 in fact) 2. The shower was not powerful at all and either scalded me or was ice cold. 3. The mattress was very very thin! 4. Breakfast was very basic with ceral or toast. No hot option - not even a boiled egg!. Rooms on the top floor are up about 8 flights of stairs!! Decoration could do with a bit of TLC. The room was freezing when we arrived as the radiator was turned off, the quilt on the bed was waffer thin and there were no extra blankets available. the room did warm up but it was cold during ther night. The bed and pillows were thin and offered no comfort. Had to wait for tables at breakfast as not enough for the amount of guests. Room wasn't exactly "superior" which was what was booked. I dread to think what a basic room looked like. Shower was not very clean and you can only set the temperature of water on freezing cold or boiling hot- impossible to have a pleasant shower! Breakfast was very basic.
