  The staff were very attentive and courteous, The Tavern not only afforded fine ales and wine but served an excellent meal. Breakfast was served to order, they even brought my daughter a pastry with a candle for her birthday. Rooms while located in the original buildings but had been renovated with modern ammenities king size beds and modern toilet... what people say » facilities. While our stay only lasted one night if our plans had allowed we would have stayed longer. - The staff treated you like royalty, bringing your meals to your suite and even pouring out your wine for you!   We received a lovely warm welcome at a beautiful country house set in stunning gardens. The property was beautifully clean, comfortable, elegant and restful, and a wonderful place to stay. Our host was charming and kind, very attentive and helpful. The breakfasts were sumptuous and the afternoon tea absolutely delicious. Thank you for a memorable stay. - An excellent country B&B, probably one of the best we have stayed in. Wonderful attention to detail. The room was extremely confortable and well thought out. The breakfast was superb. A huge range of breads, cheeses, meats, yoghurt s etc. The grounds were a delight, full of scultures and suprises! The house over looks Wells Cathedral and Glastonbury Tor in the distance. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area.
