This is a great hotel. The staff were very professional and friendly. Nothing too much trouble. Food was extremely good, with great variety, all well cooked and presented. Beach is super for families with children, shallow water out for quite a way. Pool very nice. Small hotel, 580 beds and very personal. All in all a super holiday and we will go back. Entertainment crew all worked very hard to ensure everyone included and good variety of evening shows. Kids club great.
all reviews » We had a great time at Port Side. Almost everyone there (and maybe everyone, period) was German. The hotel staff spoke German and only a few people spoke English. Zumba in German in Turkey is an amazing cross cultural experience! Everything is included in the price--all meals plus all the beer and wine you want. The ala carte Turkish restaurant (free and included, but you must book a day ahead) was wonderful. Really worth of the money. The hotel was very clean rooms are well furnitured and new. Hotel staff was really friendly and kind. Very close to the beach and had its own place in the beach and its own bar. See you on the next holiday. I was there with my family and I want to assure you that the hotel is excellent. It's located very close to the sea side, the staff is professional and polite. In one word, you have all you need to beautiful vacation. We like the location, sandy beach is very comfortable for babies. The staff in the resturant was nice. Room cleaning - Aynur you are great! Hotel is small - for those who don't like overcrowded places. I stayed at the end of June. I liked the hotel much: not too crowded, not many children, good new facilities, tasty food and a great choice of food, staff work fast, very clean, near the sea. the hotel was very clean and comfort. The food of main restaurant was very variable and delicious. If we want to go to Antalya we will stay in Port Side. This was our second stay at the hotel. We were very satisfied; nothing to complain about. Very good. Distance to beach is acceptable. Everytime again. Food quality and variety was good although it could be improved. Nice beach, a short walk from the hotel. Watel ballet animation show was a plus. The SPA is good and food was good and a lot of options. Rooms are huge and so the bathroom. Small quiet hotel with an excellent beach, excellent kitchen and very friendly personnel. Animation team evening show was excellent, very professional and nice. Hotel location. Nothing comes to mind. The hotel is far from Side and Manavgat, which is the local city which Side sits alongside. There are frequent shuttles to Side (with terrific ruins) and Manavgat but visitors should not expect to be in Side-- you are in a suburb about $15 by cab away called Evrenseki. Nothing. No baby food. Reception except for the lady speaking well Russian - others are unprofessional and not helpful, unable to organize standard things. FYI - there is a transfer to and from hotel - no matter what people on receptions tell (smb should inform them on this). Unfortunatelly there is no disco and musik on the beach. There was just one assessor (elevator) and all animation team speak Turkish and Germany and I suggest that animation team speak English, because the Port Side has guests from different countries. Small swimming pool. Seaview is blocked by another hotel. Nothing really bad to say here! Personell at the restaurant is not very carreful in giving good service and check if you need something to drink or not. English is not well spoken, quite poor. If you are English talking its heard to communicate because very few of the staff talk English. Go only if you know German. We only stayed one night so not typical for this hotel which is more a resort hotel. Staff at reception for our check in only spoke Turkish or German (no English !) Swimming pool toboggans not open all day long, only a few hours. Waiters at the restaurant and bar are not kind, poor service. Dishes are dirty at the restaurant. Management Overcrowded.
