We're quite fussy people when it comes to holidays, but we loved this place, everything was fantastic. 10 minute stroll into Kalkan centre, and only a small hill on the way back. The room was basically but comfortably furnished, spotlessly clean, bright and nice and cool with the air conditioning. The pool was immaculate, refreshing and great for kids, with the baby pool in the shade all day. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the food served at the bar was delicious. The staff were very friend.
all reviews » We stayed at papermoon hotel for 7 nights in June 2012. Alp and his wife Damla,brother Altay and friend Sahin were perfect hosts during our stay. Our room was newly decorated and spacious with aircon included. We used the pool everday which was always very clean as was the bar area which is very reasonably priced. We stayed for one of there bbq nights which was lovely and wish we could have stayed for the bbq on our departing day that Sahin had prepared and looked wonderfull. . stayed for only one night in july 2013.found the hotel to be very welcoming and relaxing,in fact we went back to the hotel mid stay(we had a villa booked)and then stayed there for our very last day in kalkan,to be honest we liked the papermoon better than the villa.we have even booked with them for 10 days next year.thanks papermoon for everything you did for us.from keely and sean. A very clean hotel with friendly owners and staff who couldn't do enough for you. We were upgraded to an apartment which gave us extra room but looked around the rest of the hotel which looked good. Breakfast was plentiful and traditional Turkish. Overall a lovely place to stay. Would we come back?.........Yes,we're already booked for next year!. Clean and basic accommodation within a 10 minute walk of the town centre. No views but a good sized pool for the kids. Staff very friendly and willing to help out. We had an apartment which had SC facilities, but they were so basic I do not think anyone would like to cook in their room. We liked the family running Papermoon hotel very much. They were welcoming, friendly and helped us in every way they could. Brilliant,friendly,and very cheerful management-Location-Pool. Not a lot!! We had booked the 'unique roof top apartment and roof terrace' from the evidence of two tiny photos on your site and were met by a 'tatty' and dangerous room which had a slab of concrete as a'roof terrace'. When we refused to stay in this room we were given the choice of only one tiny room with single beds. There were 3 coat hangers in a inadequate wardrobe which also housed the broken fridge. When we asked if we could move we were rudely told that it was our fault for booking the o. nothing whatsoever. The only criticism we would have is that the pool and bar area needed a bit more atmosphere, but that's our personal taste. nothing. No views, and bathroom was a bit basic and slightly smelly. Apart from that good value for money. there was nothing to dislike. there was nothing to dislike about the Papermoon or the hoteliers. You need to be quite mobile to get up the hill!. The 'take it or leave it' attitude Of the two boys in charge. The tattyness and size of room 7 suitable only for a one night stay. The freshness of the breakfast components.
