Staff upgraded us to a fantastic penthouse and the views of Phuket town and the Andaman sea can be very good. Great buffet breakfast that you will really enjoy! The location is good for walking to old Phuket town, but that is about it. I was positively surprised when I entered the room: an en suite room. The place was clean, fully equipped and the staff was friendly although they did not speak English very well.

Location of the hotel and the friendly staff. Good price. nothing is nice to us. Nothing. Hotel is very tired - but is being renovated. The construction can be loud and dusty at this time. However, once done, it may sparkle the way it did in the past - although the prices will not be the bargain they are now!. Nothing in particular. breakfast had mostly gone (no orange juice, eggs, bacon ) by 0930, even though they state available till 1030. Advertised an airport shuttle but didn't have one. Poor information available for getting there and finding places locally. Some of staff had very poor English compared with most places we stayed in Thailand (esp for a large hotel in a tourist area). very basic, far from the main areas of Phuket, run down area, expensive to get around, hotel having work done, no idea how to get to the pool, staff spoke little english. The pictures made the place look very appealing. while staying, there was construction work going on in the hotel and there was room for improvements with the general decoration IE remove the mouldy grout in bathroom, paint skirt boards. Apart from that a nice place to stay. Not clean, very poor sound isolation. The staff is really unhelpful, and they should improve much more their english. The town is death, not for turist people. The hotel is very bad and it is not so clean. The bed is broken and the airconditioning is not working as well. The air inside the room is so bad. There were major refurbishments going on, the workers were using the main entracce all day to bring in and out materials and equipment. The hotel was very dirt from the works. The pool was not usable due to works. there was no advance warning of the works. There was continuous noise from 8am till 6pm.
