We stayed in a twin-bed at the main wing. Each of the beds was big enough for a 10-year to share comfortably with a parent. First night we were on the stree side and from time to time troubled by the very loud motor bikes racing by. The front desk was very kind to remove us, at our request, to the quite side facing the hotel yard and even with a partial view of the sea from the second day. The location of the hotel is excellent. Close to downtown Patong with all we needed and wanted, ie. Juncyl.

U go out from the hotel to the mess and come back to the peaceful luxury place which recharges u till the n. This is not to rate the hotel, for me this was the 3rd time that I stay at holiday inn which I conceive to be one of the best hotels in patong beach. But this time was special as I was traveling with a friend, we arrived at the hotel by midnight to find that his booking was cancelled and the studio I reserved was not available, that was really frustrating, I called booking over the phone and in 30 minutes time we were offered an upgrade to villa rooms for as long as we stayed at no extra charge. We got in a little early for check in and our room wasn't ready. We headed for breakfast and upon finishing on asking for the bill I was told it was on the house as I was waiting for a room. I was pleasantly surprised. I was with a 10 month who fell sick on the last night at around 3am. I went down to the reception and asked for a digital thermometer which I got immediately and not just that, they booked a taxi fr me to the local hospital which did not charge me any consultation fee for. In all. The hotel was one of the best hotels we stayed in my husband and I. Staff were very friendly and willing to do anything to make our stay a memorable one, rooms are new, beds are comfortable and house keeping ladies are very clean, the hotel 's location was ideal as it was situated right on the patong beach strip, a walking distance to everything. Holiday Inn was definitely an excellent choice and if we were ever in Phuket again, It would be where we stay. We stayed at busakorn wing with my wife and It was a good choose. Do not hesitate between busakorn and classic wing, choose busakorn. The other side was crowded but we always found place near pool and the restaurant. Design was good, room was clean wide enough. Even there is a baby cot in room it was very comfortable, pool was wonderfull, location is perfect just steps to popular streets, too many massage shops also close to cristin body massage. + directly across the street from Patong Public Beach & walking distance to most street life + ability to take pool towels to the beach + empty minibar was practical for storing our own snacks & drinks from the nearby 7-Eleven + complimentary cake & champagne celebrating our anniversary + very helpful tour counter staff for restaurant suggestions & booking activities + good music tv channels. Location was just by the Patong beach, near shops and walking distance to Jungeceylon mall, just perfect for family. Great facilities as well. The kids club was superb with nice activities available so parents can have some free time. Kids pool available as well with fun activities Breakfast selection was nice. Room was spacious with balcony. Great stay overall especially for family with small children. The staff were helpful and well trained. Reception was a bit grubby however we understand that the renovations were underway. Stayed at the Busari Wing of the Holiday Inn Resort . It was fabuluous! The staff was incredible and went out of their way to arrange anything we needed. Pool was fantastic, breakfast buffet was incredible. Rooms were exceptional. Loved everything about the place. Recommend it highly. It’s really a luxury hotel with many activities for kinds. I really recommend it for any family to stay on it. My kids really had fun there in using kids clubs and kids pools. Also, me and my husband used their luxury spa. I really recommend it for honeymoon and family to stay on it. definitely, the biggest asset in that hotel is the service and the kindness of the staff, from the moment of your arrival to the day of your departure, there are offering their smile and their kindness, and make every extra yard to make your in the hotel an memorable experience. Great location, I found my self in the central of activities, in front of the beach and short walking distance to the market. Staff are very helpfull and make your day by their smile. We lost a toy in Ban Raya in Raya Island, which is very important for my girl, because she has been holding it to sleep for years. Beach was not good because sea was shallow, you need to cross the street to reach beach but same for all hotels. - housekeeping a bit loud in the morning - soundproofing between the rooms was weak - breakfast can use a wider cheese selection. You can not swim in any of the pools (including the Busakorn Wing!!) after 7pm. Oh boy...on the internet your rates were so confusing and hard to follow. Nothing - highly recommend the hotel. internet connection not stable in room, but it is holiday, may be it is a sign saying "stop working" beside that, nothing else. Breakfast is very good and have many choices, but it will be better for me if their is small corner for halal food. The pool closes too early (7pm), the rooms with street view are nousy due to tuktuk boum boum. Sauna should be free. The renovation was in progress while our stay but I can understand it. nothing. Glue and Paint fumes coming through air-conditioning obviously circulating back through the system from the areas that were undergoing renovation. Water pressure in Room 289 was too low for a nice relaxing shower. Very little to dislike, we only had one small niggle, when we checked in we were offered an upgrade for an extra $371.00 aud for 5 nights, we found out later that our neighbours were offered the same upgrade but only paid an extra $400.00 aud for 12 nights.A Bit unfair we thought.Another thing that we found was that for us Patong is too full on and not really our thing, we much preferred Lamai beach on Koh Samui. But the resort was beautiful. nothing. Noisy neighbours can make stay a little pain. Nothing. I thought the suit would be bigger. Hotel restaurants closed at 10:30pm which is too early. Charm Thai or Thai Charm can't remember what it's called have amazing sea food. No shaded area at the Villa Pool. nothing I love it. The Travel desk should have more options- we were denied the island tours where as it was easily available through other outside agencies. Communication is a problem. The breakfast buffet is ordinary. There ought to be a more participative hotel staff guiding the guests about what all they can do at Phuket at a reasonable price. The hotel lacks a buzz. Nothing negative at all!. Trying to be upsold on a room whilst checking in. Paint smell due to refurbishments taking place. Lack of umbrellas. Nothing. Except that I did not have as much sunshine as hoped for ;-). The price is a little steep but I guess you pay for what you get. Expensive SPA Access to lifts. Had a meal at Sam's Steak house, very expensive steak was rather chewy and poor quality, when asked, I said it wasn't very good and they did nothing about it. The rest of the meal, service, and drinks were fantastic. We had booked four room with single double bed but got twin single instead. This is the second time in a row through letsbookhotel.com that it has happened. The mattresses need replacing. Food was bit average for breakfast, but most important you have a bulk of good staff, which make the difference!. not easy communication with people. There is a language barrier between Thai and English ..
