We absolutely loved Zara. We paid extra on arrival and upgraded to the
double pool villa for two nights as it was vacant, but then as it was
booked out we thenmoved to villa 10 (grand plunge pool villa). We loved
so many things about Zara. As there are only 12 or so villas in the

This was without a doubt the best resort we ever visited in all our travelling abroad. The garden in which the villas are situated is awesome and right by the sea. This resort is excelent for people who prefer privacy, yet 20 meters walking and you're on the beach. In your private garden by the villa you would think you're alone in the jungle. We stayed at Crystal Bay for 5 nights and we absolutely loved it.
Staff were so helpfully and could do enough for you.
Happy hour is 5 till 7 and the Mojitos were great.
We had a room with a sea view and what a view it was, the beach was gorgeous and clean.
Crystal Bay is between Lamai and Chaweng its only a couple of £1 in a taxi.

Food was excellent! and they made the best margaritas there. The view from the restaurant and pool area is specatular and the resort is really well located in terms of being quiet and yet just a short drive away from the more busy crowds and nightlife. Wifi was the best i have experienced on a holiday, it stretched all the way across the beach strip.The manager and staff were really wonderful, friendly and helpful. The manager took great care of us. The location is on top of a steep
hill with a great view over Chaweng up until Bophut. So one has both:
the relaxation of a remote location and the proximity to all the hustle
and bustle of Chaweng and Lamai (if one wants it). -

The hotel was really worth the money. Situated directly at a very nice and calm beach in a hotel area, you can really enjoy your holidays. The rooms were clean as well as the common areas and the pool. The restaurant offers good food. Moreover it's not far to the town, 15mins walk along the beach brings you to the night market, the shopping area, restaurants and bars. I can definitely recommend this hotel.
