  Having travelled all around Thailand for the last 15 years I had noticed the Ayara on the hill but only in passing during stays at other resorts. The resort manages to provide the excellent Thai service to a very high standard, without being to formal. We misplaced a wallet containing over £1500 in various currencies and my driving licence. Hotel & spa is proper 5 star, staff are very freindly and helpful. Rooms are great wih fantastic views. Breakfast included up to 10:15 and was really good. The hotel is a 5-10 min walk to the beach strip, and the hotel came with free membership access to the 2 best beach clubs on the beach strip (catch beach club and bimi beach club).   The room was excellent. Very spacious and value for many. We had our own swimming pool at the room (they call it a jacuzzi on the website, however it was more of a splash pool type of effect) The swimming pool was a big bonus as it was very hot in Phuket (we went in April the hottest month of the year) so was nice to be able to relax at your own p... what people say » rivate pool with a nice daybed!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was ok, it is just outside of Patong, so you are not in the mid - The staff were fantastic, so helpful. The room was huge, I had a deluxe room with spa with sea views and the best part was the spa had a small pool attached. Loved it and spent heaps of time in the resort. The breakfast was so fresh and variety was great. Ate at the restaurant several times and the meals were great. Each afternoon you got a plate of fresh fruit delivered. No complaints at all about this resort and highly recommend.

  We were greeted by the hotel staff at the airport as we had opted for the airport transfer. It's not free but I've no complain as it was very pleasant. The moment the polite driver sat on his driver's seat, he offered us two towels to refresh ourselves. Then we were offered a drink each. The suv has a lemongrass scent which made us smile. When we reached the Bell Pool which is about 30 mins from the airport, the main door opened and it - The hotel was amazing and its very quiet and the staff are helpful. But this hotel is very nice for honey moon couples and for famillys. The only issue was that their r soooooo many bees and my wife was always screaming like a baby so watch out all men if u have wifes are affraid of inscects.
