  efficiency of staff, helpfulness, comfort of room, - The hotel was excellent - the staff were extremely friendly and helpful; the breakfast was lovely, the room was very nicely decorated; the attention to detail was excellent. Definately far superior to other 4 star hotels we have stayed in, even better than some 5 star hotels.

  This is a wonderful hotel. Our room was spacious and clean and filled with light. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water and water pressure. Hotel location was close to the center of town - an easy walk, The hotel staff was extraordinary and helpful way beyond any expectations. My husband and I wish every hotel in Europe... what people say » was as wonderful as the Rex. Highly recommended! - I stayed one night, spent the day sightseeing and some shopping. The hotel is in a great location close to shopping,sightseeing and the train station.I walked everywhere. The staff was very helpful. I was leaving before breakfast so they packed me a breakfast. The room was bright, clean, modern. It was a pleasure to stay in and I highly recommend it. I will stay there the next time I am in Zurich!

If you travel to Switzerland from the U.K. and intend to use your computer or recharge a battery of your mobile phone or tablet, be aware that an electrical plug in Switzerland is different from the European standard two-pin one. The hotel kindly let me use a plug to convert from the U.K. three pins to the Swiss three pins. - The offer that I had was fairly good value. Zurich is expensive, and the price was ok for what was on offer. The location is a short (10- 14 Minute) tram ride from the centre, with a tram stop more or less outside the hotel. Breakfast good but expensive if not included with the package, and a "quick" breakfast on offer. The hotel was quiet. The bar was functional, and barstaff friendly. I would probably stay there again
