Becoming a single room on the top floor with the utter roof directly in to the room resulted in an extremely warm room early July. And with lack of air-condition, it was difficult to get any sleep. Henceforth, ask for rooms not being located on the top floor.small breakfast room, quite difficult to find out its exact location. Room was quite noisy and no airconditioning. The staff were indifferent.It would have been a great hotel for half the price I paid for the room.For the price I paid though (chf 230 for a tiny double) it wasdefinitely not worth it.The breakfast was cold. There is no kettle available. You need to get hot water from the front desk. If you want drinking water, the hotel staff will ask you to get it from the mini bar and you have to pay for it. Location is not that convenient and staff doesn't smile at all. We reserve for 2 rooms but were given 2 units on separate levels which make it inconvenient.

Since our three-star Sorell Hotel Rütli is a bed-and-breakfast hotel, there is no restaurant on the premises. For snacks, we can recommend the attractive Designer Bar in our Sorell Hotel Seefeld. At lunchtime, it specialises in soups and traditional cold dishes. In the evening, it's the perfect place to meet in Seefeld for aperitifs or for a nightcap in cosy surroundings. If you're looking for a more exclusive lunch or dinner, we can reserve a table for you at the Sorell Hotel Zürichberg, either in the Colibri Gourmet Bar or in the à la carte Kiebitz restaurant. In both restaurants, you can enjoy a unique view of the city, Lake Zurich and the spectacular Swiss alpine scenery.

The hotel is not accessible for disabled people. Please note that renovation works will take place inside the hotel until mid-March 2010. Noise disturbances may occur.
