  I really enjoyed my stay at Edelweiss hotel. Firstly is situated in the delightful town of Wengen - in the heart of the Jungfrau. The town has spectacular views of the mountains, which was quite breathtaking as I made the short walk from the train station to the hotel. I was travelling solo at the time, and the room contained a comfortable single bed, a Study desk and a cute little bathroo - Daniel, the hotel manager was simply the most hospitable person ever! My wife and I unfortunately did not pack any winter clothes and we happenned to arrive during their first snow in over 30 years. Daniel let us borrow some of us winter clothes for our stay which saved us and allowed us to enjoy all that this beautiful area had to offer. He spent some time when we first arrived, giving us a tour of the property and explaining how all of the trains/aerial cable cars worked. It really felt like

  Hotel with lots of character. Super clean rooms, spotless in fact! Large spacious rooms with sitting area, small bathroom but ok for our needs. Fab view of the fairytale castle. Liked the free bottled water and chocolates. Super yummy breakfast in the morning. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again!   My husband & I stayed with Fritz & Gabi in June for a week. The chalets are beautifully decorated and well equipped. It is just on the edge of Wilderswil away from the main road but within easy walking distance of the centre and train station, it's a perfect base for exploring the Jungfrau region. Gabi is a great cook and breakfast was - Gabi and Fritz are very nice people, very friendly and helpful. We have planned our 2 days according to suggestions by Fritz and it turned out to be 2 perfect days for us. Fritz also tried to book a ski course for us which we have highly benefited. Building and room is pretty new, very clean and comfortable. Location is also very convenient, close to Interlaken, close to mountains, ski areas and to railway station.   I have arrived the hotel after midnight. But the staff was waiting foronly us. And he explained all about trip and gave documents for the trip(map, timetable for train, other guildlines...) at that time. - The reception was warm and the owners extremely nice and friendly.

  Amazing outside whirpool, nice staff, excellent food. On arrival reception offered to pay for upgrade to better room with Jungfrau view for 80 CHF/day, we agreed, then offered to upgrade to Junior suite for 200 CHF, we refused. Then they upgareded us to Junior suite free of charge. It was pleasant. - Very nice hotel.
