  I stayed one night, spent the day sightseeing and some shopping. The hotel is in a great location close to shopping,sightseeing and the train station.I walked everywhere. The staff was very helpful. I was leaving before breakfast so they packed me a breakfast. The room was bright, clean, modern. Our room was spacious and clean and filled with light. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water and water pressure. Hotel location was close to the center of town - an easy walk, The hotel staff was extraordinary and helpful way beyond any expectations. My husband and I wish every hotel in Europe was as wonderful as the Rex. Highly recommended!

  The room is small about 20 m2 with WC-bathroom (if we don't count the terrace) but it has good facilities : iron, ironing table, oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, dining table,cooking utensils (pot, pan, boiling dish, spoon, fork, knife, spatula, ...), dishes, four mugs, wardrobe. Location is good and near city center (and main railway station), y... what people say » ou can go even by walk (ground is steep to the city center), although using tram no. 10 is much easier. You can also come right to the hotel form airp - Cozy and clean apartments. Very simple check-in procedure. Apartments are equipped with everythig you need. Exellent location. Only two tram stops from Zurich Hauptbahnhof, stop for tram #10 which goes to airport is in ten meters from building, supermarket coop is opposite building, a lot of cafes and restaurants around, only 10 minutes walking to the old city and Zurich lake.

  The receptionist is extremely kind to me, very patient to answer all my questions and also gives me great recommendations on where to see in Zurich. - very helpful staff. We had a problem with the bed and it was resolved in 5 five minutes, they changed us room, with no discussion.
