We were given a room which fulfilled all the criteria we requested. The staff at the front desk. Great location, close to the lake. Very nice rooms. Efficient and friendly staff. The view, the sushi bar. Our room was very clean and bright overlooking the lake. The food in the hotel, both breakfast and evening was excellent. Good value for money. Location of the hotel and the view from the hotel.

There are rennovations going on in the hotel, and our air conditioning was very temperemental. However, the staff made valiant efforts to rectify the problem, and by the time we left at the end of two weeks it was running perfectly. Tlhe key was difficult to use. It worked sometimes and sometimes it didn't.Variety of food at breakfast buffet could be improved. Restaurant too expensive, especially sushi bar ...The room whilst being of very high standard had one major defect, theodour extractor fan in the toilets were not working. The breakfast wasvery badly organised, and when we arrived there was little choice. just little problem with the key..I had to go to the front desk few times for it. The hotel bathroom was a disappointment compared to the room and general hotel decor. If the bathroom matched the rest of the facilities I would have rated it as excellent. small bathroom. Obviously forgotten in the renovation process of the remainder of the hotel. Reception although given assurance that due to my late arrival thekitchen would be able to supply something to eat, this wascountermanded by the extremely abrupt Head Waiter. The extraordinaryarrangment was made on my behalf by the excellent Receptioist but I wasassured by the head waiter he was the controller of the kitchen and notthe chef de cuisine!. The bathroom was small and not as high standard as the room.the restaurant staff was very unpleasant, the a/c did not work, very expensive for what it is. The hotel was under construction.No car parking available, no extra-bed available even when required in advance, room balcony dirty, breakfast badly organized.
