Beautifully clean and comfortable. View of Lake and mountains fantastic. Restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. Reception staff variable. Breakfast somewhat limited ie scrambled eggs main choice, but plenty of fresh fruit etc. Busy road between lake and hotel but double glazing very effective and quieter at night. Would recommend and return. Excellent location. I took the lake view on the sixth floor…… priceless!!!!!!! The receptionist Luca was very very nice and funny (a great sense of humour! He really lightens up your mood!!!). Great hotel!.

The extraordinary combination of an almost unsurpasseble location of the house and its perfectly professional team. The location of the hotel, the decor of my room, the view of the lake from my room and the breakfast. Location of the hotel is excellent. Very big room with good view of the lake(from the one I booked). helpful staff, Manager held a cocktail hour to meet with all the guests personally. Very friendly. everything was conform my wishes. It took me 8chf/abt20mins from Lugano airport to this hotel. Very good position, facing the Lugano lake & cruise boat station. Great location. The valet and restaurant attendant were very pleasant. location is good friendly staff , good service. Centrally located. pleasant staff. The view. Bad staff small room. The view. Lugano very beautiful, and also very expensive. Crossing the border to Italy reduces costs by about half. Expect to pay around 50 chf for a steak in Lugano, and half that in Italy. Also thought we were getting a deluxe room with more than one window according to photos. Balcony was about 8 x 2 ft. However room was very nice. There was one big problem though…. The breakfast. The service was very bad (it takes a long time for them to replace the eggs) and the food wasn’t good (the eggs tasted weird, there was no toaster, etc.). We stayed only one day..... Lack of facilities for pick up from and drop to the station which is close by. The cab called in by the hotel overcharged and demanded 35 Swiss francs as against 20 Swiss francs which I paid from the station to the hotel. None. my room is too small. ttl abt 10m2 including toilet and bath room. bed is by the wall. and its not cheap at all. Reception staff were rude, first gave me a room with no view even though the hotel was empty but changed after I got angry. Very highly priced for an average hotel. expensive. Housekeeping is not available 24 hours. This is unthinkable for a 4 star hotel. My daughter vomitted in the bathroom, I called the reception and they informed me that there`s no one in the housekeeping on duty at 1:00 am. I have to clean it by myself. Unacceptable for a 4 star hotel in Switzerland. no wifi reaching breakfast room nor restaurant, with even cabled internet not working in room. The carpet and breakfast. Decor hospital like with many pieces of cheap and ugly furniture. Wood imitation floor tile.. Rare to see such poor taste...
