Locarno is a fascinating place with lots of history, beautiful ocation on the lake, and fantastic views from the cable cars up the mountains and down centovalli. Hotel Garni du Lac is superbly situated near the train, cablecar, & boat terminals, staff and service are excellent, and everything is very comfortable. Outstanding few days holiday. A very pleasant stay in a picturesque hotel beside a lovely town on the lake.The staff are very friendly and helpful. We loved the top floor corner room!.
