I was so impressed by every single services in this hotel. Even though I often stay in five-star hotels in Scandinavia, there are not worth pay for the price compare to this hotel. They upgraded my room without asking, and amazing thing was having very friendly and helpful staff with high professional attitude. You cannot expect this kind of international class service in any other 5-star hotels in Scandinavia. Nothing made me down! Everything was perfect for my stay! The price is rather high .

The staff is very friendly - beyond even what one would expect in a hotel of that class. Tip: Instead of the buffet breakfast (and if you don't have the breakfast included in your package) eat a la carte in the bar with the view on the Palace - breath-taking!. A luxury hotel, where everything is elegant and classy (and of course expensive). All the services are there for you: have a spa, order caviar to your room or get a babysitter. They'll organise it. The customer is the king. Very stylish rooms. At the bar you can also listen to live music performed by a pianist. A grand and luxuriously comfortable hotel in a perfect city location. On the water, with palace, old town, museums and gourmet dining an easy walk. Top-rate staff throughout, with superb head concierge, Olow Frank. The hotel spa is a marvelous treat and bastion of calm. Everything was almost perfect. they upgraded our room without asking and very friendly at every stage. A beautiful luxury hotel with top-flight service and a magnificent concierge desk, located directly on the water in a magnificent European city. Truly a Grand hotel in every respect. We rank this hotel at the top of all our travels, including George V in Paris, Cape Grace in Capetown, South Africa, and the Imperial in Vienna, and the Four Seasons in Sydney, etc. Location is simply amazing, especially if one enjoys breakfast or dinner in the 'Veranda' restaurant, overlooking the old town. Mathias Dalgreen Bistro is a 'decouverte'. I asked the reception to pick up my luggage from my room at noon, but no one showed up. Not a big deal, but at a luxury hotel you shouldn't have to ask twice. Nothing. One bathroom light (over the shower) was broken, though this didn't detract at all from the experience. A minor thing: We did not get a newspaper and no one asked us if we wanted to have one. It is good that not everyone gets the morningpaper if one have no use for it but if there is a possibility one should now. We saw it hanging on the doors to our "neighbours". Hotel is home to two Matthias Dahlgren restaurants, both of which unfortunately were closed for holiday at height of summer tourist season. Very sorry to miss these dining experiences. Our room was located on the 6th floor, quite close to a service elevator... A slight tendency toward 'stuffy'. New veranda was fresh overall but ceiling light fixtures in gold and crystal were an example of this tendency. The brevity of my stay!. Nothing to report. The hotel is overpriced. The only sufficient problem of the breakfast is awful coffee. Everything was perfect!. Unfortunately, I was not able to stay longer. Nothing to complain about. Room - on the 6th floor - great view but the room was a bit dissapointing Small and a bit crowded for two older men to be comfortable. When we checked in they withdraw my creditcard and they booked money from my bankaccount. At checkout we did a real payment of course. After two days they released the money theyd booked when we checked in. Lucky for me it wasnt more than one night. Otherwise our vacation had been ruined. I didnt count for paying for double amount of money for the hotel. Individual room a bit small at 15m.s. for the price paid, over 300 euros per night. No breakfast. Wi-Fi is extremely poor in room. Hotel should check it particularly in room 309. Had a very bad time for internet connection. Had to talk on Skype or Viber going outside of the room or at lobby. Not appreciable. Very high room rates not quite justified. Room was not that well laid out, the space could have been better used. Stockholm itself is very expensive. N/A. in a Grand Hotel you would not expect mold in the bathroom. We could not reserve table in it famous restaurants. Cost of restaurants especially breakfast which I was led to believe was included and was not. Not having coffe in the room. I was in the fourth floor room 448 Whenever we get out of the room we used to smell food which wasn't fresh. Other than that everything was Excellent . Thank you. Price of food (€ 35,- for a burger and fries via room service and € 30,- for breakfast buffet) is too high. I was given a room at the inner courtside of the hotel with absolutely no view; for € 210,- per night that is no value for money even for a renowned hotel such as The Grand No shops in the immediate area despite central location. 3.00 pm check-in time.
