It was in the heart of old town in Stockholm, around the corner from the palace. very conveniently embedded in the Old Town, beautiful waterfront setting, handy to ferries and 5-10 minute taxi from central station. comfortable. ambience and decor blended the old nautical with sleek modern.The location is very excellent!!! Friendly staff, great breakfast, excellent restaurant, convenient beds.

I did not know an annual marathon started in Stockholm, the road to the hotel was closed, had to drag suitcases 6-8 blocks to hotel.underground cellar pool was not heated (it was a sauna-plunge-pool!); no tea/coffee making facility in room; restaurant was combined with the bar/disco and not restful at dinnertime for the weary traveller, but otherwise had great menu and reasonable prices;. desktop internet access. Room was dark, but I only slept there so not terribly important!. the rooms were rather small ... actually very small but since we were on the road all day was not so bad, but if we would have stayed in the room ...It was great staying here!. Bath room quite small....Furniture is old,no aircomditioner.it was very hot in the room. it was rather noisy, we slept on the left side of the hotel, on the ground floor was the kitchen and transportation of all kinds of things like the carbage, early in the morning. they did not refresh the room at all in 4 days, no safe box in the room, no balcony in executive room, poor furniture. It's a 3 nights stay in the hotel. On the 2nd day, hotel move all my personnal belongings to another room by neither asking my opponion nor informing me about the change. And on the 3rd day, my door key is diabled without any reason. I feel that the hotel doesn't welcome me at all and allowing such unprofessional things happen which seems like a hint that they want me to leave ASAP.
