During my (more than a week) stay at Linnéplatsens Hotell & Vandrarhem i really felt like a true local. This was mainly because the personel helped me complete many tasks that i had to do in Gothenburg. From simple street directions to buying instructions everything was provided. Moving around was very easy since the tram-bus stop is just across the street. It is a very small ride to the city center that i actuallly made only twice since walking it was only 10 minute. Also a public bike ren.

It is amazing and a must when you are in Gothenburg. It's brand new and you can tell. Kitchen is amazing! The place is immaculate! The staff are really helpful (and they can tell you where to get the best milkshake!) Location is great. Just a tram ride or walk into the main/touristy part of town. The guys at the reception desk are very friendly and helpful. I liked the self check in option, because my plane landed late in the evening and I did not have to rush to the hostel. Right in between 2 tram stops and next to a beautiful park, close to town. The only thing that sticked to my my mind as negative was the lack of recycling proceedures in the kitchen area. But this is only a minor thing in general... Nothing. Seriously this place is awesome!. No lockers at all apart from a small one behind the front desk. No towels, linen or breakfast included in the price. You here the closing of the neighbouring doors, but if all try to close it more carefully, there is no problem. nope. Well, bed sheets are not included; no lockers in 6-people dorm room; loud slamming doors. However it is still nice place to stay. The checkin time @ 3pm but you can leave your bags at the reception if you're early so it's not a big issue. Dorm room for the six people was quite small. It's a bit far away from the city center, thought it is still close to some main areas. it is better if they have some sign in english, not only in swedish. but overall, it's perfect. you have to bring your own bed sheet otherwise have to rent the bed linen from the hotel ,we have been told this is the typical swedish way but we stayed in Stockholm ,uppasala ...never had this problem...ok even this is "swedish style" we respect it but it should be written clearly in the rooms instruction ,nobody likes to be fooled 所有床上用品需要自带否则需要付钱租借感觉是变相收钱欧盟国家几乎游过一边了，这是头一遭，即使在stockholm和uppalsa也没有这个问题真的是很具有“swedish" 特色？？收钱不要紧你需要在房间介绍时说明啊既然出去玩也不差那点钱感觉是被“ swedish style" 愚了一把. Parking costs. No locker in dorm room. Toilet is separated from the room and is in public area but since it's clearly stated in description it's OK. Reception and the hotel itself is closed for most part of the day. Be sure to arrive after 3 pm your first day. Stayed in a private and would have liked to see some more hangers and maybe a mirror. The doors close quite noicy witch could be disturbing to some people when there are a lot of guests running in and out. No mirrors in the rooms . Only small thing the sign about the hotel outside the building hard to read from distance. Didn't like shared bathrooms, but I think this is maybe a common thing in Gothenburg. This "hotel" is not a good Choice for a Family with kids. And should not be called hotel!.
