This hotel is really good. We arrived at the hotel very late in the night and the hotel staff is still waiting for us at that time. The staff is very nice and arrange the room for us quickly and answer all our demands. The room has adequate facilities, inclucing air conditioner, TV, shower, etc The next day morning, we have a very good breakfast provided by the hotel and get a very good relaxation when sitting on the balcony on the second floor, from where we can see the ocean. all reviews » NYBC is a typical Sri Lankan guesthouse. Deluxe room I stayed at had everything that is necessary - shower (though not always hot), AC (worked well), comfortable bed, nice balcony where breakfast was served. There is parking space and wifi also. Guesthouse is located 2 min walk to the beach and many shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. Negombo City is 7 min by tuk ruk (200-250 rupees). Just do not expect luxury/European standards accommodation and you'll certainly have a wonderful stay!. Madhu her husband and the canadian were very helpful n cooperative through out the stay.Staying in NYBC on our first leg of vacations proved to be ideal choice since after a long travel one needs a break of day or two before proceeding East to explore Kandy and Nuware Eliya ..a must see!! Thanks once again to all at NYBC to be so caring...will sury reommend others too!!. The staff were super, really friendly and very accomodating and helpful. The room was spacious and clean and was a 3 minute walk from the beach. It's location is also good for restaurants and bars and shops. Great hotel, I would highly recommend it!. Little gem of a bed and breakfast, ideal if your on a budget, couldn't fault it for the price, hosts extremley helpful and friendly. Lots of nice places to eat close by. Great for a few days stay before or after touring. I specially liked the very warm and family-like atmosphere and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff Mr. Victor and Mr. Prian and his wife and their charming family. It was like a home away from home. Very friendly staff. I arrived late and left early the next morning, but they walked outside to greet me and offered tea/coffee at 5:30 am. Simple room with a/c, everything you need, very affordable. it was a very friendly atmosphere, as if one was at home. The management was very attentive and polite. We truly enjoyed our stay at NWBC. It's centrally located near restaurants and the beach. Staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming, they even offered to look after some of our luggage while travelling and helped us with printing off maps for us. Cheap and cheerful !!. Super-friendly staff. Nice rooms at a budget price. Hostel is set back from the road so, you don't get all the road noise. Perfect for a stop over before or after the airport. Hotel staff is very helpful and extremely kind, NYBC localized just across the road from a very nice beach, also a lot bars, shops restaurants in the neighborhood.. The owners were extremely helpful. They really looked after me. Close to restaurants and bars. Clean and comfortable room with balcony. Everything is beautiful in hotel ,presence on the street where all services are available and the cooperation of the hotel staff. The nearby disco makes this hotel when the disco is active less attractive because of the noise late into the night. The shower water is too cold, and slightly overpriced. Wifi was not working in the bedroom. Ac worked well, but was very noisy. Credit card facilities are not available. Rooms very spartan: a mini fridge/ tea coffee making facilities would help. Only one sheet on beds, with a blanket as cover: two sheets are more hygienic surely?. Nothing. bathroom needs to be improved, nothing kept other than soap and bath towels. Poor location outside Colombo. No fridge in the room. Plenty of Mosquitos in the room. Poor quality beds and pillows.
