Colombo Courtyard is a very nice boutique hotel with an excellent aura and expression. Every detail is perfect and the designer has managed to take the most modern style from top-end London designhotels and mix that with genuine SriLanka style. When you walk around on the hotel premises you see new angles and new water-sculptures eerywhere - the space is really exploited with taste and innovative thoughts There is an excellent bar, two really nice restaurants and a roof-garden with a great spir.
all reviews » Besides the fact that the hotel is an interior design gem in the middle of Colombo and the staff were fantastic from start to finish - at the end of our trip my wife fell very ill. The hotel staff rushed us to the hospital, where they didn't speak English, they stayed with me and dealt with everything until around 3am. They were patient, caring, and generally fantastic. I seriously couldn't thank them enough. On top of this, the manager is absolutely excellent. The hotel service, food, wine, pr. My husband and myself spent our last two days in Sri Lanka in Colombo . The hotel has an excellent location, very close to everything you need in the city as a tourist . The staff was extremely friendly and made us feel very comfortable and special. The breakfast was just delicious , definately would recommend to have that included when you book your room. The hotel manger went out of his way to make our stay amazing . Would certinaly recommend this hotel if you have a few days in Colombo . Taxes in the hotel resturants are high!!. We had some trouble finding the place initially but that is primarily because our driver wasn't very familiar with Colombo. We had only one contact number for the hotel which kept going busy for a long time so that was a bit of nuisance when you are trying to find directions!. They were working on improving their fitness room (which wasn't much). If you're looking for a hotel with an extensive fitness facility this isn't the hotel for you. Restaurants were average. Big issue was that at letsbookhotel.com it said breakfast was included where as nothing was free except for some coffee. I saw another Asian guest checking out who was surprised and finding out that the breakfasts he did we're to be paid. Nothing. Noise around the building. A bit noisy in swimming-pool area due to nearby busy streets. I expected to pay when check-out, they charged me before. I am not sure its possible as we never saw them the whole time in Sri-Lanka - but milk in little pots instead of coffee mate would be good as it tastes a bit odd, or a little bit of milk in the mini bar would be helpful. Also at least 4 teabags for non coffee drinkers. This is a minor detail but you asked !. nothing. Nothing. Stayed in a room on ground floor, noise from kitchen above was disturbing. Warm and wet Bathroom due to open bathrooms windows a lot of insects in the Room and special in the Bathroom, Brocken Bed which I was suffering for a Week. Poor Breakfast Menus. Cold water by there Swimming pool. Open air lobby , which some time so hot. its not 5 stars hotel they or you cheated me i stayed only one night room & bed were not clean i found alot of hear on my bed& insects on the floor they refused to give me my money back so you or them should return the money of the rest 4 nights at least.
