Located opposite to Santa María Magdalena Church, this hostel is set on the very centre of Sevilla. Hostel Trotamundos is a 10-minute walk from the Giralda Tower and the cathedral. The guest house features an Andalusian central courtyard with marble columns and a fountain. There is a common living room with a flat-screen TV, a coffee machine and sofas, as well as board games. Featuring shared rooms with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi, Hostel Trotamundos also has a shared kitchen equipped with microwave, ceramic hob and fridge. Really great location—like 5 minutes from the bus station or the cathedral. Nice loooong bunk beds (a plus since I’m tall!), free wifi, a handful of showers with warm water, and massive free lockers. Although breakfast was just toast, corn flakes, milk, and coffee, I liked that it was at least included :) The central patio gave a nice ambiente for the whole hostel. Beautiful building. Very secure. Lovely furniture and relaxing. Friendly staff. They didn't mind putting the air con on in the rooms all day, massive benefit in the heat of summer and something that none of the other hostels I stayed in on my trip did. Perfect location on a quiet street but close to the sights and shops.
all reviews » I like that in the room were a security boxes for my staff, also it was clean and I met just friendly and nice people here. The kitchen was perfectly equipped and staff was really helpful :) Also appreciate a lot that we could leave our luggages in spare room during the day (waiting for a night flight). The family owner business, all the family group really kind and helpful!I stay 4 nights and would choose again if have chance visit again.Good memory. Very nice and helpful personnel! I liked the staff, they are really friendly and helpful :). Clear, sufficient for medium price. Nothing. Were not met upon arrival. Room had NO windows and cracked and pealing paint. Bad odour in room. Lockers in the room? We booked out in 2 hours when we secured other lodging. I miss a mirror in room cuz I have to always go to the bathroom and I always forget to take something with me so have to always go back to he room to take it. Breakfast is not really worthwile. But not necessarily negative because there is also a kitchen where you can leave or prepare your own meal. And otherwise you just take breakfast outside like all Spanish people do :-). the receptionist only available from 8 am to 10 pm so if we need something we have to wait until the specified time. missed the mirror in the room. The window is very small and you have to turn on the air-conditioner whole night in summer. Sometimes the toilet doesn't have toilet paper. 1. The shower downstairs does not always work well. 2. The room is a bit simple and crude. Like most hostels, it lacks a shelf on the upper bunk so you can put your eye glasses, wallet etc. We had some trouble with some late-night-arriving travellers because they gave one of our beds twice... which means that all our personal belongings that were stored away safely where reachable for the people coming in... And there is only one bathroom on the first floor for everybody to use... Only 1 or 2 outlets in the rooms with 6 beds. So hot. Internet doesn't work in room. We reached early morning and the staff was not happy to see us. we asked to leave our luggage and wait in the common area till the rooms were ready but the staff told up the check in time is later and come after that. After persuation they allowed us to stay, only to be asked to leave during breakfast time and ccome back later. the guys didn't speak english very well either. There is not enough light in the bedroom. The shower-room needs adding some water blocks to stop water flowing outside the shower-room. Breakfast was toast and coffee. Didn't realize it was shared bathrooms when making booking. The reception staff barely speak english and it took us about half an hour to check in zhich caused us missing the free flamenco show!. Room with bad ilumination and ventilation. No internet in the room. You have to pay to use the computer in the commom space. a little bit noisy when there are people takling in the courtyard. two french girls in my room came back very late at night and kept taking to each other. I kown it has nothing to do with the hostel but I think it's a common sense to keep quite after midnight. I got a room which could not be locked form the inside, but after telling the staff, I was able to change rooms. But still, the first room felt of no privacy. The breakfast was really poor, the room was small. Everthing.
