Free internet in the room was really great; Hotel staff were friendly, helpful and spoke english; We had a quad room with a double bed and a set of bunk beds--it worked really well for our family (kids are 4 and 6) as the bunk beds were somewhat obscured from the rest of the room in a corner that was relatively dark so we were able to stay up and chat. The costumer service was kind and very attentious / laptop with internet in my room was very useful. Facilities are good. Breakfast was great. The room was non-smoking and even on a non-smoking floor which was great as I didn't feel no smoke at all.The location, the hotel was quiet, the room was comfortable. Internet access. Choice location near Plaza del Sol but away from the worst of the crowds. Free wireless, good breakfast, extremely clean. Staff was great - our AC wasn't working and they had it fixed right away. This chain (they have several scattered around the city) is a hidden gem in Madrid - good rooms at a very reasonable price.After changing our room from a twin room to the requested double, we had a beautiful room with a great outlook. The decor in the room was a bit 'masculine' [heavy grey] for a couple!!. The room was small.the smell was always bad in the room and sometimes great noises coming from the corridor. the breakfast, bad odor sometimes comes out of the bathroom. upkeep, some bulbs in the bathroom were out, towel hooks were about to fall. slow lift. The room was tiny. I explained that I would be working in my room and did they have anything a bit larger (and lighter). They moved me to a lighter room but it was still tiny. No room for chair at the desk so had to sit on the bed. I had to put the TV and desk lamp on the floor to make room for my computer on the desk. Not a good business hotel. Tiny, tiny room. What I saw in the photos and what I got felt quite different, to put it mildly!. not much atmosphere. Room far too small. Too many steps at the entrance and the lifts were too small to take 2 cases. the room was to hot and impossible to cool down. design of hotel public interial. The reception staff were very efficient. However, the room did not have all amenities, for example there was no shampoo or bath gel after the first day and we had to ask the reception. It was very cold at night, I had a non pleasant blanket in the capboard but my colleague did not have any and was freezing at night.
