  We were not only plunged into the cosy atmosphere but we felt a marine spirit due to the authentic decoration, despite the fact that the boat is situated not in the open sea. Also there was sincere hospitality as if we were the long-awaited friends. The cabin is absolutely comfortable for the tired travellers (peaceful sway on the waves, illuminat... what people say » ors, the marine maps on the walls, fully-equipped bathroom, dinner, breakfast and snacks on board...) The deck is created for the stay under the stars - We found the St. Katharine B&B Boat accidentally and it turned out to be the perfect accomodation for our week-end trip. Delicious breakfast and a warm and relaxing atmosphere on a lovely and clean boat. Situated not so far from the old town (15 min tube and walk) it's the best mix between adventure and peace you can get in Barcelona. The prices are really fair and Cas, the owner, looks after you as if you were a family member.

  There are ample beds - 7 in total in 4 rooms. The apartment is within short walking distance to Marina and Monumental metro station. Even we managed to walk to Placa de Catalunya where we catch the Aerobus to the airport. Facilities are complete and working perfectly, with adequate towels provided daily. There are food stalls nearby to get your ... what people say » stuffs for own cooking - we found this to be much cost efficient for our hungry family members :D - The staff Was supernice we could leave our luggage there, I could print train and bus tickets for free. Two of our friends came a bit later however it Was no problem they could do the checking one day later. Fresh towels everyday and the infobook in the appartment is very useful too!!
