Absolutely perfect location in between the beach, harbour and el Born, and a 10 minute walk to la Rambla. Very clean hotel, great beds, spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, friendly and very helpful 24/7 reception. It's perfect for a city trip due to its location as you can easily go home, drop off ur stuff and head out again. Also awesome for going to the beach which is merely a 10minute stroll away. There are many little restaurants right near the hotel where u can get amazing breakfast. Definite

For a family with young children, the set-up was perfect: children in their own room with bunk beds, parents in a separate double room downstairs. There was a very comfortable lounge, and all necessary facilities for self-catering. The location was amazing, and the arrangements for meeting up with staff worked very smoothly. Great!

The location is perfect, just opposite to Estacion Franca, close to Rambla, the beach, etc..The staff is extremely nice and helpful. They are ready to help us. We changed room twice when we were in this pension because of the noise, and once the room was upgraded. To compensate the inconvenience, the staff provide a bottle of cava as a gift. -

The Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, Modernista Barcelona with the Gaudi masterpieces and Joan Miro art, the plazas and markets, Roman ruins, the parks, waterfront and mountains, all very accessible with the excellent metro system and fantastic tourist bus made our 5 day trip one of the most interesting holidays I have ever had. Rambla, and Barcelonetta, and only a 5 minute walk to Metro stop to
access farther sights. The room was small (typical for Spain), but with
a high ceiling it didn't feel too claustrophobic. Good value with
all the basics, plus a few extra amenities, like balcony and hair dryer.
A/c worked well, which was crucial in mid-July.

I just loved this apartment, which was on the second floor of this building (or third of you're American). As an apartment building with a reception area (which is quite rare in my experience), it was super convenient. Andrea speaks English superbly, spent time with us to explain the apartment and how to best see the city and even arranged our taxi out to the airport when we left. She even waved us off! Lovely!
