Guests should check pool opening dates with the hotel.

This is a comfortable spacious hotel with a lovely garden fronting the sea. Although a modern hotel it has all the Parador standards that make for an enjoyable stay. Our room was clean and spacious with a good bathroom, large balcony and views out across the bay. Breakfast on the outdoor terrace overlooking the sea was great. Hotel parking is very close by. It's a level 2 minute walk into the beachfront area. We would stay here again.
all reviews » The location was perfect - the hotel has it's own gardens that go down to the beach. The views from our room were superb. The room was spacious and very well equipped - the decoration/furnishings were comfortable and attractive. The onsite parking was secure just across the road from the hotel. Probably the best hotel in Javea. Staff helped, as I am disabled, brilliantly. Beautiful gardens, with a pool. Views from the terrace and rooms to the sea and the Arenal beach. Breakfasts have a wonderful choice of fresh fruit, we enjoyed green figs. There is choice for everyone with many breads, jams, meats, eggs and cheese. The hotel is not too flash but with most of the facilities you could require,nice rooms all with a sea view and good size balcony, lovely gardens and excellent swimming pool, good breakfasts,un fussy staff but reasonably efficient,great location and not overpriced. Wonderful location. It reminded me of Hawaii since I am from the USA. Wonderful surprise since we did not know the area and was just passing through. Also many great restaurants in easy walking distance along the water. The location and the view were excellent. The grounds are beautiful and the breakfast is very good. Value for money was great. It seems suitable for older couples than younger people but very nice overall. We had a wonderful time at the Parador. The accomodation was great with a sea view and the hotel went over the board to satisfy our needs at any cost. Great location too! There's nothing not to like about this hotel......staff, rooms, food, location are excellent......we've stayed in 5 * hotel costing double which aren't a patch on PdeJ. It did not affect our stay but there is no much facility other than the pool. I do not have anything Bad to say about the hotel..... But I think the housekeepers could clean the rooms without making so much noise!!! They woke us twice with the sound of beds moving around in a near bedroom! Some room for improvement here!!!! Definitely!!!!!. I have stayed at this hotel a few times before, and really enjoyed the breakfasts, however I was a little disappointed, the variety and quality of the cooked food was lacking. We didn't book along enough stay.....dam. Beer in the bar was ...... dreadful! No tea & coffee facilities in the rooms. Staff were surprisingly unfriendly/unwelcoming. Strong smell of sulphur in bathroom. Could hear disco music from across the bay late night even through a reluctantly closed window. There was no foreign Television. In the hotel and no foreign newspapers. A bit expensive for Canadian standards, but considering the comfort I was happy with my stay. I would have stayed more. Too bad you do not have a direct access to the sand beach. Or maybe I did not find it since I stayed just one night?. Restaurant was a little dreary. Breakfast was OK - apart from slow service of tea & coffee - but we didn't feel tempted back for any other meals. The housekeeping staff often did not replace one or two things, eg the mat next to the bed. Floors need to be cleaned a bit better. Beds a bit firm, no feather pillows. hotel is a little bit dated and hotel staff seems to be a bit indifferent to the guests. But its a minor factor. Hotel a little dated. The furniture and fixtures in the room and in common areas were somewhat dated. The menu could have been more imaginative. Problem with smell in tolilet. Nothing. Nothing. waited too long for service at breakfast. They forgot to clean my room and tried to overcharge me by 70 euros and did not inform us that we could of rented a garage for our convertible.

The Parador de Jávea can be accessed through the A-7 motorway, Ondara exit, following directions for Jávea/Xábia.

The Parador is found right on Arenal beach, 4 km from Jávea/Xábia. It lies next to Canal de la Frontera, a beautiful bay on the Mediterranean sheltered from the wind by the Montgó mountain. Jávea is located 100 km from Alicante/Alacant, the provincial capital.
