The best thing about this hotel was its location and very modern&tidy interior. In fact, this hotel was the cheapest one among all others during our trip, nevetheless the most satisfying!! I am pretty sure that you will be amazed by cozy atmosphere of the room. If you are looking for something more 'spanish' or 'antique' this hotel is not the one. But if you are looking for neatly arranged room with reasonable price(also at walking distance to all the Granada sightseeing area), Parraga siet.
all reviews » The staff at the hotel are just outstanding. My husband became ill in Granada and had to spend 5 days in a local hospital. I have little Spanish and the hospital staff had little English. Alex, the hotel manager, came to the hospital with me as a translator and spent many hours dealing directly with hospital administration. She talked with doctors and nurses and helped organise direct communication between our insurance company and the hospital. We would not have been able to do this without he. The staff were excellent and welcoming - the receptionist lent us her own brolly for our trip to the Alhambra. The room was an executive double - and it was spacious, stylish and quiet. We were not disturbed by the night life of the city and the air-conditioning was unobtrusive - both factors allowing us a peaceful nights' sleep The hotel is perfectly placed for exploring the city - and the discount for parking just across the street was a very useful bonus in the middle of a city. I would not. everything, free wifi, our room was not ready so we were asked to wait in the bar, drinks on the house.Bar is great, fantastic tapas.in the evenig if you are drinking there dress up as it was full of young couples in designer gear- but still a friendly atmosphere.The room was even better than the photos, the room was a good size, so comfortable, we had drinks one evenig in the bar, and used the patio lounge and had drinks bought up to us there, and were amazed at the competitive prices when we . Great central city location. We stayed in a Hotel Executive room and it was divine; spacious, clean and design-oriented, and had a big bathroom and separate TV/ reading area. The staff were very friendly, and there was iced tea and iced water available at reception 24/7, which was a lovely, welcoming touch (especially after returning from seeing sights in 40 degree heat!). The La Vitola cafe attached to the hotel is very basic - nothing much on offer for breakfast - walk two doors down to a local cafe for breakfast - much more to choose from and MUCH better value. The location is excellent for central sight seeing but may put some off as it is 50m down a side street that can be noisy first thing. Nothing!. There was no mini bar in the room. We stayed at room 37 , very nice but the door was extremly heavy and difficult to open... If you arrive by car, check in advance how to get to the parking.... Hotel bill was in dollars which included a 2% upcharge as stated on the slip. I said I wanted to pay in Euros as my credit card company charges no fees. The desk clerk spoke no English and I could not make the connection so I signed but I figure between the fee and the poor exchange rate the cost was about 5% higher than necessary. Not a thing!. No English language TV news channel, magazines or newspaper in English; menu not in English. This would be very important for all international travellers. A little difficult to get to like any hotel in the middle of town. One minor point; shower was not ideally positioned which caused a pool of water on the floor each time. None. none. Nothing. It was perfect. Hard to get to front door to unload suitcases. Parking a block away. Parking facilities were not on site we had to use a public car park which was really difficult to find but we did get preferential rates. There is not any hair dryer in the room. Nothing. no fridge in the room. Hard to find-google maps doesn't know where it is, usage of washroom brings a new level of intimacy (semi-transparent glass door that doesn't seal separates room from washroom), shower lights keep shutting off after 2 minutes of use. Bar and restaurant were closed on Sunday. Lack of storage no tea/coffee facilities. The girl that works in the reception never smiles and even say hi to the guests. She should not work with tourism... Price.
