The hotel is amazing and the staff are excellent. We arrived during Siesta but the staff had still made it easy for us to get into our room and go and use the pool and allowed us to check in later. It may look a bit far out on the map, but its just up a small hill that we never struggled with. About a 3-4min work to Plaza Nuevo. The views, what can I say - amazing! Hotel in general is picture worthy and the rooms are great. They even leave the room with tea and coffee, milk and drinks etc which.
all reviews » Have great view of Alhambra. Needs a little uphill walk, but walking is historical district is very nice. Rooms have small snacks, kitchen facilities, which was a plus. Although due to arriving time we didn't meet any staff on arrival date, we got keys, maps, useful local information and recommendations without any difficulties. Staff was great. Apartment was clean and spacious with a good view of the Alhambra. The roof terrace of the main building was a perfect spot for a late afternoon drink. The location was perfect, close to everything but tucked away on a quiet street away from the crowds. Considerate staff,provide champion and chpcolate as gift to welcome us. When I turned on the TV and found the channel is Chinese TV channel. the room is cosy and there is some Oliver oil, sugar, salt and cookies in the room. The use of historic sections of the original city walls seemlessly incorporated into the contemporary design of the apartments. The concierge was extremely helpful with a lot of great Granada tips for a tourist. Relaxed, friendly, comfortable. Nice that they topped up the breakfast/ coffee each day. But that would be the case anywhere in granada really. You have to park your car in and underground car park and then get a 5euro taxi to the Albacin, as it is way too narrow to get your car through. But if you plan ahead the hotel is well worth it!. You need to climb some steps. Nothing. It was very difficult to find initially, but once you know where you are going it is easy. I would recommend getting a taxi to the apartments. Leaving!. The parking. The staff kindly tried to warn us about parking but we didn't quite understand just how difficult it is to park in Granada. Top end of price range for what it is. Bed a little saggy, needs replacing and a mattress protector should be there. Only one extra pillow and getting a further one proved unachievable. No hot water in morning but problem sorted very quickly. Could hear other room flushing loo. nothing i didn't like. nothing. Nothing.
