  I loved it here. It has a great country atmosphere. The rooms are good with terrific views. WIFI is very strong. The bathroom is very functional. There is a terrific bar and restaurant downstairs. Very cheap to drink and eat. Close to the bus stop, or if you have a car there is lots of parking free. The staff are very friendly but have no english,... what people say » but we are in Spain after all. - Friendly staff, convenience of being above a bar/restuarant with well priced food available and decent quality snacks,a good stop over for a Santander sea crossing

  The staff at this hotel can't do enough for you. I am now stayed at this hotel twice and enjoyed the experience on both occasions. Its proximity to the port of Santander is of particular importance to me. My ferry from Portsmouth arrives late enough in the day that I would not want to drive on any great distance and this hotel is ideally situated.... what people say » It is a beautiful old building, well loved and well cared for. I would no hesitation in recommending this is an excellent place to stay. The hotel ha - A lovely building, tastefully restored and modernised, a real discovery! So handy for Santander ferry port, yet quiet, very affordable and comfortable. We had a lovely modern room overlooking the palace grounds, with excellent facilities. Sadly it was Chefs night off, so we had to eat locally - not bad but in a very sad area! Breakfast at the hotel was first class on the terrace! All the staff were very friendly and also very much dog-lovers! Value for money is superb - I highly recommend this

  We used the location as it was a perfect stopover for the ferry to England as it is approx. 20 minutes away so we were able to miss the rush in Santander, it also gave us the opportunity to taste the hospitality of a traditional Posada which we were not disappointed in. There are no evening meals available but we were given the keys to allow us ba... what people say » ck in at a time of our choice, so we were able to explore Pedrena in the evening and had a lovely meal at La Trainer, everyone we met with treated us - From the moment we arrived from the ferry, we were looked after so very well. Our host made sure that we lacked for nothing during our stay. The room was perfect with a great view of the garden and breakfast was excellent. Our stay was perfect!
