An Excellent hotel . The accommodation was beautiful with memory foam mattresses and everything you would need. We were half board and the food delicious. The choice was vast and we really liked the chefs who would prepare your meals and breakfast to order. Tried the spa as we had been given a free pass but disapointed that it did not include the swimming pool, however again the facilities there were excellent. We were given a picnic on the morning of our flight as we were too early for breakfa.
all reviews » This is a hotel located outside the city centre but well in walking distance. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are very spacious, are in fact apartments. Spa, gym and classes are payable. The room rate however is so beneficial and with this system you only pay when you use it. The hotel was in a quiet location about 20 mins walk from the town/ beach. It was clean and tidy and facilities in the room were adequate. The food and dining was excellent if you like fresh salad and basic cooked meat and fish dishes. Dining staff were excellent. Good choice of food with plenty of variety throughout my stay. I didn't want to be particularly close to resort centre as they're always a bit naff. Good location for exploring the island. Classy and well maintained. Apartment excellent. The balcony had sun from morning till 3.30pm, which was perfect for private relaxation and sunbathing. Breakfasts very good. Dinner: salads good. Pasta OK, you could have choice of toppings. My daughter and husband stayed and loved the friendly staff and freshly cooked meats/pasta/fish/pancakes. Pool was clean (although freezing) but didn't stop my 9 a year old! Fabulous stay. Friendly staff, quiet location, gym facilities, food, relaxing atmosphere. Prices were reasonable but there was no weekly membership or deals. No outdoor heated pool. Tried my Spanglish with little effect as lot of staff are Polish or Luthuanian (nice people but thought Spain had high unemployment of young people). Could have done with some information leaflet in room about hotel rather than a photocopied bit of paper with little info. Shower was too cold and using the body jets just soaked the floor and there was a bit of lingering sewage smell. Outdoor pool too cold in late April. Having to pay 6 euros for a swim in the indoor pool. The air conditioning: it made the apartment smell musty and on the last day, didn't work at all. Dinner: Meat poor quality not organic, fish looked grey, obviously defrosted from frozen. The vegetables so overcooked they were mushy. The only wines which I could have by the glass were the cheapest and were undrinkable. Cold water in pool. Dim lighting in room, wifi reception, no English TV except news channels. The reggae music at the pool area was a bit out of place - most folk just wanted to listen to their ipods. as guests the use of the indoor pool should be free to use. Slightly far from the beach however that actually made the resort nice and quiet since it took 20 mins' walk to get there. Something lacking. there was a certain sterility in the athmosphere. Seemed a very unhappy place. Many staff had poor command of English and Spanish. It is also a long distance from Teguise Centre, though we had a car which made it easier. Not recommended for singles or couples, would be good if you are in a family group or large group of friends. unfriendy guys and girls at the restorant room, somth wrong with thier salary????. The bed were very uncomfortable, and the bed clothes unappropriated (they were covering with two small duvets a big bed done with two 1 meter beds). The buffet was ok for a couple of days, but after that it was very repetitive. The meat/fish was not very fresh (the taste of all fish was exactly the same - vinegar), and some days some fruit was rotten. Disorganized staff for breakfast. i paid for wi-fi but it virtually didnt work in our apartment.we had to pay€6per person to use the so called leisure center daily and€6per person to use the pool which was constantly crowded with local children+the attitude of the leisure center staff was horrendous.the hotel is a long way from town and its very quite even at night the bar was empty.i would not stay here again for sure. Location distant from beach Hotel needs modernising - clean but dated decor Needing to pay for access to fitness facilities - pool, gym, etc... I stayed for two nights and was initially impressed by the room and the facilities. Unfortunately my room suffered from bed bugs and the bathroom had drainage problems. I reported this to the reception but they offered no apology. The food was poor too. I would not recommend this hotel.
