Location, just in front of the Mezquita. Less than one minute walk to all attractions. Our room was great, 208 with views of the Mezquita tower. The staff was also great, they met all our requests and were so knowledgeable of the attractions and restaurants. The breakfast was very nice with so much attention to detail. It was a 3 star hotel, but for us was more of a 4 star!. We stayed here during part of our honeymoon (they even upgraded us to a suite since we were on our honeymoon). It was an amazingly beautiful hotel with a fabulous location. The hotel is directly across from the Mezquita Cathedral. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!.
all reviews » Unsurprassed location , 100 years entrance from Mezquita Mosque/Cathedral. Room was very clean, updated and comfortable but small. Included breakfast was above average. Staff with one exception was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend without reservation. First class I had a slight accident with the car barrier, partly myfault,and hurt my head. However, the receptionist replyed by givingus the best room of the hotel. So wonderful treatment towards usThanks so much.The location was brilliant - opposite the Mezquita! The food was delicious, the rooms very clean and spacious, and the staff attentive and helpful. We managed to spray them away, but weren't too happy about the experience. Lack of information on what entertainment was available in the city. We had to leave the city a day earlier than planned, when we asked reception about our booking she said that the booking could only be changed on the internet. The internet would not allow me to change details as it was an existing booking taking place. The following morning the hotel Manager then stepped in to help and we left.The Hotel was not easy to find for a first time visitor. bar service. There was a surprising amount of noise from the halls--new doors or weather stripping under each door would help. Oddly, the otherwise excellent buffet's scrambled eggs and bacon were inedible. We upgraded to the Romantic package for 20 euros, which included the buffet (normally an additional 11.36 pp), some hotel bar chocolates and demi sec cava, which we left unopened. It seems such a petty thing to mention but a tray to take breakfast back to the table would be a nice touch. plus somewhere to put empty cereal boxs, wrappings, tea bag etc.Two items offered on the buffet menu were definitely substandard - the scrambled eggs were overcooked and solid; the bacon luke warm, pink and flabby. Everything else was up to standard. We did complete a complaints form.
