We liked a lot the location of the hotel, 2 metro stops away from the city center. We received what we expected, a nice, tiny room for 2 people. Come on, we are not in Barcelona for stay in the hotel room. However it had a big terrace which would have been very nice if we would visit the city during summer. The breakfast is OK, all you can eat, with a few variety. I absolutely loved staying here. The decor is amazing, very modern! Rooms are of a good size with breakfast included. The location is also good, station Diagonal is a 5 min walk away and las ramblas is a 25 min walk away. Set in a very good area near Gucci and Chanel shops. Staff are amazing and spoke good english! Definately recommend staying here.
all reviews » Good location a few blocks north of Placa Catalunya and close to a metro (and the airport railway connection) with plenty of bars and restaurants right next to it. It is also in a good shopping area. It was also cheap and the staff were friendly. It also had a bath as well as a shower which seems astonishing for such a small room. First when we got the hostel gave us all information we needed, gave us a map and tips where to get our first dinner. She was all the time very kind and helpful. The bedroom are very confortable, the breaksfast are delicious. The free guide tour are a big differencial and the guides are fantastic!!! Thanks. This hostel has very comfortable location and good staff! The most impressive thing was the cleanliness (for example, they change towels and clean rooms every day!). One of administrators speaks English (it was also very good))) Breakfast was normal, tasty and in sufficient quantities). Clean, modern, well designed and crafted! Incredible thought and time went into the layout of the reception and dining/common areas. Loved how simple the rooms were, but enjoyed and appreciated having a private bath. Very good location for a Barcelona city stay!. The moste friendly hostel I have been in the last few years during my travemling around he world. Didn't love how removed the reception was from street level. The hotel entrance is accessed from inside the building on the 4th floor, but this was a only a minor inconvenience. The bath facility in my room is not good enough,but the others are really good. it could be great if the breakfast would consist in some fresh bread, not only toast, otherwise was the breakfast delicious and tasty :). - beds, I would rather her single or double but no 2 floors bed, couldn´t even properly sit on this bed. Be prepared with smaller locks for the lockers - they cost 3 Euros if you have the wrong size. Be aware that the traffic noise could be disruptive for some. No A/C. very small room and bathroom shared between two rooms (but in room description it is stated that the bathroom is private). No. The room should be renovated,but who comes to barcelona to sit in the room ?. Confusing elevator. The shower had almost no water coming out. Room was too small. Rooms can be quiet hot in Summer. Breakfast is modest. Tamaño habitación. I think breakfast could have been a little better. And would recommend travelers to take some accommodation near to Ramblas. very weak wifi, The room is not insulated against noise. and they didnt clean room everyday. The staff is not friendly. Sometimes when we walked through they didn't even say good morning or something. We were lucky with a young guy that tuned the tv for the football match, and with a young girl that was very kind to call to a restaurant to see if it was open ans vacant. The toilet was a bit small and old. I was very disappointed that the hostel wouldn't let me change my booking; I contacted them a week before, but they refused even with letsbookhotel.com asking on my behalf. I only needed to stay 2 of the 5 days booked...it ended up being an expensive place to store my bag. I'd still recommended the hostel but be wary of inflexibility. A little expensive for what you got, breakfast and public spaces in this hostel were not so great, although they had a deal with the hostel next door, which had great common rooms.
