the locality. it was a very central hotel. It was very close to where the city tour buses would pick you up.The hotel was definately bargain basement E.G. no breakfast facilitiesor tea/coffee in the room. You get what you pay for. Clean sheets,helpful staff, keen to please even though they didn't speak English. Thelocation cannot be faulted. 5 mins from beach, Ramblas and GothicQuater. The hotel is near a metro station ("Barceloneta"), and many buses pass by also. The location is fine, 5 minutes-walk near the old part of the city. The hotel personnel is very kind. I would recommend this hotel to young couples wishing to stay for a few days in Barcelona.The Hotel is in very good location close to the train and metrostations. You need 15 minutes walk to the beach and the old city. The best is location - 5min walk from city center by the seaside. Metroand train station is very close. So - easy to get to airport. Cheapprice. Safe, because you have to ring the door bell and ask receptionistto let you in. Friendly staff. Helpful.The location is excellent. Location is great. Position is very good, very very close to the beach and also to La Rambla, train Station 3 minutes by foot. Excellent location, very clean, towels changed every day. Good location. Could be difficult to find if you do not research before you leave.On the outside was very dingy looking. There was staff there 24/7 but coming late, you wouldn't know that. The only way we figured it out was because a couple before us let us in and told us where to go. It could be confusing for people if its very late, especially after a long day of travel. Plus, it was very hard for us to communicate with the staff. On arrival it doesn't look like a hotel. You need to go to the thirdfloor of the building to find it. Not all rooms have good ventilationE.G. small windows but our room was great - wall to wall window. 90% ofrooms appeared to be en-suite and ours was clean and staff cleaned itthoroughly every day.Rooms were a little bit dirty and very noisy. However, there is not much to ask for the price payed, the benefit-cost ratio is OK. There is some construction works in the vicinity and after 09:00 am inweek days is very noisy.Very small bathroom, quite small rooms - but only for spending nightsits ok. All furniture very old, 1 small room in the room and bathroom -both to the tunnel, so there are no sunshine in room. Staff dont speakenglish at all. Really paper walls. No interent. Very small room right next to the reception, we heard everything. No free access to the hotel - we had to ring the bell to let us in. It happened that somebody was trying to get in at 6am for about 20 minutes and nobody opened the door. Accommodation is very expensive, but that´s in all Barcelona. Walls made of paper, heard every single word from the reception and rooms nearby. Very small room without window, extremly uncomfortable beds (asked double, but got twin room), no heating.Small rooms, very noise, we could hear our neighbour snoring during the whole night which made it really difficult to sleep.
