the hotel is well located. hence we saved much time for visiting places we planed to visit. For our next vacation we shall definitely book the same hotel.

Location, location, location! For a single traveler the price and convenience couldn't be beat. Short walk from airport bus stop on Catalunya square. Ample breakfast daily overlooking Las Ramblas. Close to many tourist areas.

Don't expect a single room to be a suite or a double room for half price. These rooms are tiny. Think open your suitcase on the bed and put it away to sleep. Window opened to air shaft.

everything about the hotel was amazing, the room, the view, the location and the breakfast! its too cozy and convenient! I recommend anyone who is going to Barcelona and considering cheap hotels to stay in to stay there!

Perfect location & WIFI, very clean, friendly receptionists, breakfast although limited was very tasteful and fresh. If return to Barcelona, I would definetely stay in the same hotel!

Excellent location, literally you fall out onto the Ramblas from the lift door opening!! Pricewise this hotel is better if not more exclusive than some of the better known hotels on the Ramblas.

The noise from the workmen, but its all good as the hotel is currently undergoing reforms and due to finish by the end of Dec 2013

The hotel was the perfect location. Only 2 miles away from the cruise terminal, one street away from the Airport Shuttle pick up and drop off location, and between two metro stops. Located on Las Ramblas, I was expecting the hotel to be of low quality because of the price, but I was amazed at how gorgeous the rooms were- and how spacious! Front desk staff is very helpful. I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat. Free wifi, breakfast for a couple euros, and beautiful rooms.

Very good location, top of La Ramblas 20-25 meters from the entrance to the subway.Very clean, good Vi-Fi, good breakfasts.

We loved the central location and easy access to the Metro. We ended up paying an extra 5euros for breakfast, but it was well worth it for the convenience. Being adjacent to "Placa de Catalunia" it gives easy access to airport buses and tour buses. We were talking to a Swedish couple who were staying there for the 7th time and we would have no hesitation about doing the same.

The bath wasn't big enough to call a bath and the room was slightly noisy because it overlooked "La Ramblas"

loved our balcony with table and chairs. Had a drink whilst looking at everything going on below on Los Ramblas. Breakfast was very good. Had 3 nights there and would seriously recommend

Everything was very good. The location on La Rambla just fifty metres from the Playa de Catalunia was perfectly central for airport buses, tours of the city and dining and sightseeing

The balcony overlooked a narrow street at the side of the hotel which was a bit noisy late at night

Confusing path to my room (but it just takes one time to get yourself familiar). Didn't quite like the renovation taking place but that's a good problem to have for future guests! :)

I liked particularly its location overlooking the heart of social activity within La Rambla.

Just to answer this question on what I did not like I might say the rooms were particularly small but really this was not an issue with us.

Great location at Ramblas. Street noise didn't bother at all when the window was properly closed. The room was cosy and tidy. Bathroom wasn't very big but it was functional.

The convenience and location of the hotel were tops. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the pricing was reasonable. This was my second trip to Barcelona, my first time at this hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was a maze - we laughed that we needed to drop bread crumbs to find our way to/from the room. of course, we ultimately got it right, but initially it was a concern.

Location! It was in a perfect spot surrounded by stores and restaurants! The bus stop was only a few meters from the exit. The staff was beyond friendly! When our trip from Barcelona to Italy got cancelled, we had to stay longer in town. Without reservations! As we informed the hotel about our situation, they managed to find us a room after a few minutes! When I return to Spain, I will make sure to visit this hotel again.

The hotel is well located at the top of La Rambles. The room was small but adequate. It had the normal bathroom amenitities including a hairdryer. It was cleaned regularly. We had a great city street view. I had read about it been noisy but didnt find it that noisy. Just closed the terrace door and turn the air conditioning on and it was fine. We stayed there Sunday to Wednesday. Everything was close by including shopping, bank, restaurants and bars. We ventured on the side streets and found great places to eat, shop and pick up souvineers.It was close to Catalunya Place where you could catch the train and the metro. The Boqueria Market and Rheal Place were both close by off La Rambles. We also liked that we could barter prices at alot of the shops.

Proximity to La Rambla and the center of local attractions .... The service and friendliness of the staff. My room, which had been recently renovated and was sparkling clean and Quiet! Ask for room 123 - it is an inside room which only looks onto an interior light shaft, but that area was filled with potted plants and a pleasant view.

If you have a room facing La Rambla it will be very noisy because there is activity on the street 24/7.

Location was good, right on la rambla at the top. Had a few terrace on the 1st floor able to sit out and people watch.
