The location is excellent, near Rambla. The beds were comfortable, the Wi-Fi works all the time, the breakfast was very good for the money- 3,5 euro/person. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The room was modern, with almost all necessary utilities (excepting fridge). Fantastic location just off Las Ramblas and 50m to nearest metro stop. My room was very quiet, clean and comfortable. On day of departure I was able to leave my baggage and get a shower later in the day prior to departing. Overall, pretty good no frills value.

The continental breakfast at 3 1/2 euros was definately worth getting up for and was available until 10.30 staff very friendly and helpful. Nice, clean and value for money hotel. Helpful staff and do not forget nice breakfast for low price. Excellent location and with closed windows you don't believe that you are next to the Rambla. Great location for a base in Barcelona, 10m from the Ramblas and 20m from the Liceu Metro. Friendly staff, the hotel was spotless and the rooms were cleaned every day. The location was excellent, just off the Ramblas. The front desk person Eugene was extremely helpful....he provided the best service of all our hotel stops in Spain. we were welcomed by a very nice staff. Excellent location, very close to Las Rambles and metro station. Our room is clean and our towels got changed every day. Good room, good location, room is not too big, but it's clean and quite. Location. The stairs are hard to climb, especially with luggage, because their height is bigger than normal. It's pretty noisy during the week-end nights, due to the poor windows soundproofing. The price is huge for a 2 star room. Not comfortable bed (double bed). It was for us to small. A/C wasn't available in rooms - but this wasn't much of a problem as temperatures weren't too high. Was told it would be available soon. A bit noisy because we were so close to Ramblas but that is to be expected so can't really complain. Hauling our luggage up one flight of stairs to reception area was no fun. You can hear the neighbours because the walls are not noise insulated but we found the same to be true of all the hostals we stayed in. the stair is a bit narrow for big luggage and the wifi signal works best in the toilet. The prostitutes who robbed our phones but that is las ramblas not the hotels fault! But seriously dont under estimate the pick pockets. No elevator,but was expecting that. No lift and it was a bit noisy. tight corridors and no lift (if you have big suitcase and got a room on 4th floor it can be hard to get there) thin walls - you can hear many interesting sounds from other rooms ;). Room was rather small and basic. Little bit noisy. Just be aware that there is no elevator, so you have to carry your suitcases up the stairs. No elevator. The noise from a drunk man on the Ramblas. internet signal at the rooms is crap they should get a good wireless so you can have internet at the rooms. Noise from the stairs when tourists return to their rooms at night. you can hear people in other rooms. this hotel did not have any refrigerator and we must put my drug in the refrigerator but they did not let us to use their refrigerator. Lack of outside view. Security!Room burgled within hours of check in!.
