We have stayed in this hostel for two nights in late September. Absolute a value for money place to stay. Don't expect anything luxuary, it's plain and simple, exactly what you pay for. Rooms are clean and cleaned each day. Close to the Barcelona city center (approx. a 10 minute walk to the famous Ramblas), 10 minutes away from Montjuic) and just a minute away from the nearest subway station. Friendly staff, gave us some tips for restaurants to eat in the direct surroundings of the hotel and di.
all reviews » The hotel it is in walking distance off all the turistic attractions of Barcelona. I consider this aspect as the best feature of this hotel. The room was very clean, we had private bathroom and a balcony. On all the streets surrounding the hotel there are restaurants, bars and shops. The metro stop is at only 2 min walking distance. After chek-out they permitted us to use their luggage storage room for the entire day. Wi-Fi connection in the room was great. the staff is very nice and friendly. Although he does not speak a lot English, he tried to understand and satisfied our needs. He is really helpful!! The location is perfect, three mins walk to the nearest metro and only 10 minus walk to the famous La Rambla avenue, 10 minus walk to the Monjuzic Mountains and 10 mins walk to the Harbor. If I visit Barcelona again, I will absolutely stay at this hotel again!. The adresse is close to most interesting things. La Rambla, Plaza Espanya and public transport. Are you in own car there is as Parking-celler just a few hundres meters down the "Vilar y Vilar". Room is light, clean, good bed and the staff is extremly nice and helpfull. Continuous party until 5am! 30 years ago we would have gone done and joined them!. The room almost had no windows. I mean - it had two, but very close to the walls of anothter buildings. Therefore there was no daylight in the room. We should have been warned that we were going to book a room without daylight... A small thing but the shower could have been better, a little bad water pressure. Nothing. breakfast is not included. Always was OK. Some damages on a wall in the room (116). Nothing. Room without window. little noisy at night. Hard to find it Impossible to open windows for night. The hallway stunk like a sewer the whole time The paint chipping off the walls Very run down building Bad Internet connection dropped out all the time Very noisy at night. It can be noisy if you have a room close to the street. Limited choice of television channels. Hostel was having work done, smell of paint electric wiring on show.furniture damaged, cigarette burns in bed covers. Basic to say in the least, overpriced due to mobile congress in the city.
