The design of the hotel is very original, the rooms were clean, they had all the necessary toiletries (which I found that many 4* hotels fail to offer nowadays). The location is great (4 blocks from the University Metro Station from which you can go anywhere). The staff was also really friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay there and I would definitely chose it again. the hotel has a fantastic atmopshere, modern rooms.

They had but we had to wait for an hour for it during which time they allowed us use of the original room. There was no extra charge for the larger room. There was a selection of 10 or 15 movies which you could watch any time.Wery good location, in a quiet location, but still very close to the city centre, 5-10 min.walking to La Rambla. Quite small room, but very modern and convenient for 2 people! I really recommend this hotel and would like to come back again!. Not much I'm afraid, the location wasn't bad but our room was covered in dust and grime everywhere and was very noisy with no view!! Our room was right next to the housekeeping room and it was very noisy in the mornings. However the tv didn't work, internet was ok. the final price wasn't the one agreed on. the bathroom has only a window door, there is no much privacy.Rooms a little small but well equipped. Lower rooms a little noisy due to traffic. We moved to a higher room and it was much quieter. Not enough lighting in the bar and reception areas. A drink at the bar was very expensive. Also our room was located at the back of the hotel and there were renovations being completed on the adjacent building. There was a lot of noise from about 9am. This didnt affect us as we were up early anyway each day but this may bother some visitors. Balcony was quite small, but it is nothing to compare with the nice hotel overall.It was a little small but other than that it was very nice. The breakfast was wonderful. the hotel pool was not as clean as could be and no one seemed to hang out at the hotel. The restaurant was very expensive.was not able to use the pool. Slightly limited wine selection and room service menu.Restaurant was closed. An iron would have been good. The safe didn't feel particularly safe as it was removable.small rooms. The internet is a huge problem. The one on the TV can not really be used and they offer no alternative to WiFi for laptops (e.g. ethernet). The room is small but tasteful. To say the pool (on the roof, yeah, that's the one! don't look for it some more like we did) is small is an understatement, it looks like a decorative puddle.The size of the room. telephone charges too high. Very quiet, the bar area had no staff, so virtually empty all the time, the double rooms were quite small. the door of the bathroom, the air-condition. some basic fanctionality was missing, for example, there was no dust bin in the living room, there was no place to put a soap in the bath etc.. but all of them was not a big problem. room size is ridiculous: a 4-star hotel at 5-star prices but 3-star rooms. The safe is not working. No tea / coffee making facilities in the room. No complimentary water. Lack of service!!! looks like they spent a lot of money decorating the hotel but forgot this is a client service business... and never invested on the staff training. I spent 5 nights at the hotel and the TV (or music or internet) never worked at my room... Besides that, looked like there were not enough employees to run the hotel and definatelly the manager was never there.I requested a bowl of soup on the room service menu. It was not available. I decided to check out and moved to a hotel that could provide basic services for business travel. I would not recommed your hotel to amy colleagues. The "free" internet in the room did not work during our stay (2 nights). Bad parking service; when we arrived they parked our car and when we left we had to go and find it self in the parking (took us 20 minutes), they did not know where they parked it, very expensive 30 € per day.We did not receive 2 messages in the room that our company send us !!!. The swimming pool was really dirty and didn't look like it had been cleaned for a very long time!!.

Travelling information

From the airport there are various possibilities, by taxi or car it takes 20 minutes.

The best way is to enter Barcelona by the Gran Via continuing until Aribau street, where you turn left and follow this street until you reach the hotel.

There are also trains which connect the airport with the main train stations with a journey time of 20 minutes. The nearest station to the hotel is plaza Catalunya from which the hotel is 10 minutes walking distance. There is also a bus from the airport to plaza Universitat .
If you arrive by train, we are only 10 minutes from Sants station which is Barcelona´s main station.
