We had some problem the first night: they booked a room for us in another hotel 'cause we were in sort of overbooking. But from the second day the stay was great. To apologize they leave us one of the best room (and for a day more), give us breakfast for free (at the bar nearby) and discount part of the ammount. So I can say they were very sorry for the inconvenience and remedied it in the best way they could. The place is in a great position, the room was clean and quiet, just little bit dark.

Clean room with some modern touches in a close location to the beach and other sites. Located in an area with many shops and tappas restaurants, not too touristy yet not off the beaten path. Room was tight but this was not an issue for us. good friendly staff. Clean, comfortable bed. The front lady was barely able to cope with English. It helped a lot that we could follow her explanations when she spoke slowly, something to expect frequently when travelling through Spain and not a major issue to us. More annoying were the noises you could hear from the neighbours. When they passed by in the elevator or stair case you could listen to their conversations. Something that can be combatted with earplugs, I guess. nothing. Bathroom was way too small and "balcony" was enclosed with an odd smell. The entrance a bit strange, you need crossing a jewelry to access in the hostal. Had a bit of a problemn to find the place but a friendly store owner helped us, after that everything was great. The room and building are not safety, because all rooms are building in the hall area of elevator. So, all rooms are placed bellow the stairs. I never saw something so strange. We just can access our room by elevator and the door of elevator goes directly into our room. One day the elevator was broken and we can not leave the room because the emergence exit door was locked. So small almost claustrophobic. Access is through a jewellery shop. There are no signs for the hotel. Lift is so small you need to stand sideways. It is tiny. There is no sign at the entrance so very hard to find. The actual entrance is via a jewerly shop which they give you keys to and trust you to lock up as you come & go in the evening. Very weird. no separate entrance-entry from shop front and rooms a bit too small. Impossible to find. No sign. Staff not around to check in. Very small have to walk through a jewelry shop to enter. Store owner arguing with us about entering. No door to room. And the additional. Bed was up a loft with a latter to climb. Bathroom is extremely small. It s a ugly spot, air conditionne absent , so extrémely narrow and inconfortable between a window and an élévator !!!! Claustrophobia+++++++.
