We stayed in 3 bedroom duplex. Very comfortable, spacious with a lot of facilities. The apartment was cleaned once during our stay. Location is fine, near Park Güell, but be aware that it takes over 30 minutes to reach Cuitadella (beach) station by Metro. A few facilities were not working, but on our request were fixed the next day. If the climb from Metro back to Apt is too much for you, try using the outside escalator, it takes you right to the top of the hill.
all reviews » The apartment was really clean, we had a one bedroom for me and my husband and our two little ones. The sofa bed was comfortable and the apartment was a good size. There was also a dishwasher and a washing machine which was handy. There was also a local Condis convenience store few doors down which helped and the local El Carmel me to station was 10 minutes walk down the road. The 3-bedroom apartment we stayed in was bright, clean, well equipped and spacious for us. We like the balcony. We rented a car so we appreciated the private parking space in the basement. The check-in and check-out were very smooth. It was our first visit of Barcelona. The staff gave us helpful tips about the city. This flat is a very good choice of staying in Barcelona. The lady we met to check-in is very friendly and helpful. The room is spacious for couple even with children I think. Location is good, a bus stop nearby and a metro station just 10mins walk down. You can get to city center very easy. Clean, spacious, comfortable, modern and secure. Well maintained. Quality appliances and well equipped kitchen. We spend 30 mins walking to reach Sagrada Familia. Really recommend and will stay again if go to Barcelona. Very kind, helpul and friendly lady (Helen) greeted and settled me in. My flight was delayed so it was after the 9 pm deadline but there was no extra charge. She also kindly opened the gym for me before the usual 7am opening time. This apartment is a terrific value. It has a gorgeous view of the city. The metro is close, so it is easy to see the sites of this wonderful city. Antoinette, the caretaker, was extremely helpful and kind. safe parking (which is very important aspect in this city;)), good organization, extremely friendly staff, apt. was clean, spacious and is located in a quite vicinity of Barcelona. Spacious comparing with a hotel room, nice neighborhood even you are not in the city center, well equipped, mini-restaurants and fresh food stores on the corner. very nice location, fresh air, mountain view; excellent room facilities; excellent staff; near bus stop; full equipped kitchen. Also, they didn't really bother to answer my request when I made my booking. If you use the garage, be careful when exiting, since it is really narrow and steep. Quite a steep area, but we managed with a double buggy was hard work though. There were two couples in our group but there was only one bedroom with a double bed. We were not given any info about the gym. There was another car parked in our spot on the 3rd and 4th night. None. Although it wasn't an issue for us, there are strict house rules on noise curfews, lost keys, smoking, cleanliness and damage. Difficult to find even with gps. Don't even try to find with iGo. We get 20 km out of Barcelona when use iGo. TomTom bring us within 30 mins back. Also did not like policy of company when any of your mistake must be paid. Lock keys by mistake - pay, late check in or out - pay, all and any steps out must be paid. It's a bit of a stretch up and down a very steep hill to walk to the nearest metro station. Do not attempt to drive to this apartment. It wasn't well identified on the outside, and we got lost in the horrible traffic with very narrow streets. Location nOt ideal- alot of traveling to and frOm although buses metro v good. On the negative side is that you need 30 minutes to get to placa catalunia, or most other places, hence you leave in the morning and come back in the evening which can be tiring. far from city center. It was little bit noisy at night. Not very near to subway. Noisy neighbours. No cross ventilation and no privacy of the bedroom. air-conditioning was not very efficient which was a bit inconvenient during the stay. It's in a very quiet residential area, up in the hills, much further away from the city centre than we imagined. Nowhere for a family to eat in the area. The person who welcomed us was not sure where the nearest metro was, resulting in some long walks up and down steep hills. We speak Spanish and French but "International TV" did not include BBC or CNN. Only English language station was Bloomberg. Credit card number you should give if after your departure some damage in apartment was observed. Not a pleasant procedure. Very far from town centre in a very residential area.no taxi etc .the bus takes 40 min to centre and in the evenings you will need a cab back. No English speaking tv channels. neighborhood, no restaurants or shopping convenient; distance from Park Guell; chose this site based on review that said close to Park Guell, actually a 20 minute uphill hike; my airport transfer was arranged by BWH and taxi didn't show up-still waiting for refund.
