It was our first time in Bcn. Staying at Backpackers House Bcn make us feel like home. Its location very in the city center; very convenience to walk around in the city, to take a bus, to take a metro/train. The bus and metro stations are just around the corner. We want to go again to Barcelona and SURELY we will stay again at Backpacker House Bcn. The staff are very friendly, helpful and always smile. They really make us feel like at home staying at Backpacker House Bcn.
all reviews » Excellent positioning - 2 min on foot from a shopping area/Starbucl/Universitat Metro and max 10-15 min on foot from Placa de Catalunya and La rambla. It saves you a lot of time if you want to visit places and don't like to spend too much time in the subway or with your map trying to see where the nearest subway is. The personell is very nice and the places looks pretty well. The staff were so helpful since I spoke no Spanish ,was traveling alone and arriving late and needed lots of assistance with directions. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Will really recommend Backpackers house Bcn. Great location but thank you so much for making it so easy for me. The size of the rooms was great, not cramped like most hostels. We also had use of a large living room and kitchen which, although was available for the whole floor, was never being used by other parties so it was ideal. Very nice place to stay in! Close to all interesting places in Barcelona. Cozy, spacious and clean rooms, very friendly and sociable staff, especially Carlos and Alex :) Very beautiful view of Tibidabo upstairs!). Friendly staff, good location - short walk to la rambla and beach was about a 15min walk. metro station 2mins from hostel. We had a private room on 5th floor and was nice and quiet with or own private balcony. great location! I can even walk to several famous places :) Staffs in reception are really really nice. The whole apartment is clean and cozy, looks exactly like pictures showing. great location and easy to find, just remember it's near a heart-shaped sandwiches restaurant. stuff are nice and the place is clean and large enough. highly recommend!. it was amazing! close to everywhere, toilets were so clean, rooms are so big and fresh! if you are a interrail student, choose this place!. The living room, the kitchen and the closeness to the city center and most of the important services (transportation, markets, etc.). Great staff, great location. Room very clean. Comfy bed. It was a great central location for Barcalona. Nothing, we chose a cheap to sleep n wash. The common room was only shared by a couple of other rooms so not as social as I would have preferred (though it might suit some people). Kitchen area needed updating. Old (but working) refrigerator - some ice cube trays would have been nice. wifi didn't work everytime. - the windonw is almost falling donw. You get what you expect, so no complaints!. Kitchen facilities on our floor were broken. The wifi was rubbish!. Bathrooms and toilets weren't clean enough While taking shower water leaked from shower cabin to floor . And it was very noisy - guys have been partying in sitting room and we couldn't sleep till early morning. We could hear each slightest sound as if they were talking and laughing in our room . the room. I got the one in the 5th floor the atmosphere is so gloomy..not as good as the ones at the 2nd floor I guess..it's warmer atmosphere there. But for the value of money..it's still highly recommended ;). We were placed in another building. I've only seen the stuff twice; checkin en check out. A general hangout place would be nice to meet people. Now we didnt meet anyone. Some towelhooks in the showers would be nice, as the floor gets wet. the kitchen was wery poor. wery old pots, partly broken and the cooking range didn't heat well.
