Hotel was clean and comfortable with welcoming,friendly and helpful staff.   The friendly and helpful lady who looked after us made our stay a happy one. She called the whale watching company for us, without being asked, to check whether our trip was cancelled because of the weather, and was able to recommend a good place to eat when we arrived late the first night. Nothing seemed too much for her. - Lovely place, very pe... what people say » aceful, good breakfast. The owner kindly prepared it for us a bit earlier as we had to leave. It's a bit far from the centre (nice walk along the coast though) but the new harbour is just around the corner so very good location for whale watching.

We visited several cities along the garden route (as well as within the near Kruger), but hermanus has something special. 'a city' fantastic. cliffs, beaches, mountains.
