Marion and Gavin are extremely warm and friendly hosts whom run an excellent guesthouse . Breakfast is a highlight and nothing is too much trouble for Marion and the team . Their attention to detail is amazing - even my car was washed ! I will most certainly be back and will recommend it to family and friends . The property was impressive and immaculate. Everything was on hand to make guests comfortable. The owners were a mine of information about things to do in Knysna . Idyllic waterfront setting - tranquil after the activity in the town. Each morning when we left our car had been washed - never known this before.
all reviews » Service, location and facilities. The owners were so helpful and went out of their way to service our needs. Nothing was too much trouble, even the daily car wash! The room we had was large, clean and well furnished, with great views across the lagoon. First class all round. We were made to feel very welcome, by the staff and owers and really enjoyed our stay. The owners were very keen to ensure that we utilised our time during our visit to Knysna with lots of local knowledge if where to stay. Really beautiful B&B with the most amazing breakfast looking out over the lagoon. The owners are just lovely and so helpful with good tips for the area. The lodge is too far from town along a very busy road to walk in at night. If you prefer not to drive the hotel has a reliable taxi number. At the end of the evening the restaurant will telephone the taxi to return. There is nothing to dislike about this guest house. 1. TV reception limited channels and not good quality picture. 2. Hot water flow takes too long at tap point. 3. Room key system and room access door sound proofing can be improved. Absolutely nothing. A little cold in honeymoon suite because it's too big for the heater. Also, the wi-fi doesn't reach the suite. But perhaps that's the point of the honeymoon suite? ;-). nothing. The location - it is not in downtown Knysna and the worst is the noise (it is directly located at the N2).
