stay very friendly, assist you with everything you like right away and even though it is a big hotel, it has a very comforting atmosphere and you will be even welcomed and assisted by the hotels director itself! Definitely again. The roof bar on the 15th floor with a 360 degree view over Johannesburg is just amazing... There were some interesting decor choices. All in all it is a beautiful hotel but I think some of the interior in the reception area could be more tastefully decorated. The room/bathroom was also a bit bare. Great venue and space. There should be more signs for the hotel and hotel parking access.

I think all this info should be provided on arrival. i dint experience a bad situation during my stay. The coffee making facility wasn't working properly. And the roof top bar and restaurant were both being refurbished at the same time so there wasn't really anywhere to eat apart from the cafe. the shower worked - but the waterbeams were a bit crisscross. The toilette is not separated from the room. You should be careful in this area. Use your car or taxi if you want to go somewhere. Walking on the streets could be dangerous especially if you have valuables with you. none. The rooms are a bit cold and the parking way was a bit narrow and slightly difficult to go up. no bathroom door loud music from the rooftop club was noisy. breakfast very expensive. Our bookings were all cancelled when we arrived?? None of the rooms had breakfast booked after we did book via bookiing.com The internet adds are misleading calling a twin (with pictures showing two bedrooms in one appartment). In fact it is 2 single beds pushed together. The upstairs reception staff do not know what is going on. lifts not operating well shower floor room maintenance (on multiple day stay) parking. nothing. Info about certain things is not given at reception. For example, the fact thaT for lights to operate, the card key has to be slotted in the holder. cannot complain about anything. I didin't like about wireless and the top of bulding is closed. The bathroom was separated from the room only by a partition, not a secluded area with its own door. I had a challenge to connect to the wifi and also the staff at restaurant they didn't pay attention to us to the point of us leaving and eating elsewhere and finaly the staff downstairs at reception they must be fully informed of the entertainment spots during the night as we come outside JHB..so they must be able to give us direction about the night life. The prices between the actual hotel and letsbookhotel.com are slightly different; and the explanation given for this was not really satisfying. The hotel is situated at the CBD where crime seem to be increasing; I got robbed around this area and I lost everything; I didnt know much about the area; saw the hotel and liked it thats all. 1. front desk need to be more trained in the hospitality industry. 2.not a good location, if you have to attend business conference near Airport. 3.i left my business card holder with couple of important business cards on coffee desk and the hotel says they have not found it. Toilets with no doors. Airconditioning was not working for one whole day. Construction works ongoing at the hotel. Very noisy hotel. Noise from outside and also noise travels easily between rooms. The car entrance into the hotel is too narrow, you can easily bump your car. The toilet that was not enclosed. No sound proof, wifi not stable and poor. Poorly finished room, overall layout of the hotel, poor guest services for 4* hotel, poor internet access, bar and fitness centre both closed for refurbishment and no advance notice, found a beetle in the room. The hotel wanted to charge me R800 and not R655 as agreed on letsbookhotel.com. They said the added amount was 14% VAT. This clearly was not correct. Then Reef Hotels wanted to charge for breakfast when the R655 rate included breakfast. I also showed the receptionist the voucher and still he tried to rip me off. The cut fruit at breakfast was soggy and old. For the dishonest nature from Reef Hotels, I certainly do not recommend staying there.Bar closed, promised early breakfast forgotten , very Noisy , unfriedlich Stuff.
