Really Glad we chose Genesis. Felt very secure. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Could leave our extra luggage there for 3 weeks Securely while we toured Botswana then returned for another stay. Safe parking for guests. Wi-fi at restaurant. Great location, supermarket downstairs. Airport taxi organised for us. Everything was fantastic !!. Really happy with our choice. Felt very secure, they looked after our luggage while we travelled to Botswana for 3 weeks and returned to re-visit. Helpful staff. all reviews » Normal price there is r1400 for a two bedroom family room but through letsbookhotel.com we got a special price of r1190 per night! Service and facilities were superb! Luxury and comfort @ it's best! Tanx letsbookhotel.com!. Great friendly service. Apartment was very comfortable, much better than a hotel room. Very convenient location, 2 supermarkets in the same building, one of them with kosher food!. The hotel was relatively easy to find. There is not a lot to do in the area, but there is a restaurant in the shopping centre. Garded parking in the basement. large rooms with a kitchen big pool area stores close by and not to busy no problem to park and its free book a suite for 2 but got an upgrade. Staff very polite and helpful, good value for money. Checked in earlier and was happy with the response though i paid extra it was worth it!!. we liked the location; secured park, shops, laundry; interior decor; child friend apartments entrance hall kids play centre. The hotel is an excellent property and makes you feel at home with good facilities all round to make once stay comfortable. Spacious apartment with large grocery store in same building. The lift is located next to the cleaning store room, there was an uncomfortable strong smell of a cleaning detergent(jeyes fluid like smell) at our second floor near the lift, but the place is superb and very secured. Room faced the residential area (I saw other reviewers that wrote it would be quieter in the street) but there was noise from the supermarkets below. The building in which the hotel is located is undergoing renovations, so also some noises from it as well. There is no airco in the hotel, what was not a problem when we stayed here, but could be something to realize. pool area has to be taken care of internet in the hotel is bad when you use the business center. Renovations had workmen knocking on my door all the time!!. limited TV channels. No air conditioning! I didn't realize that until I had checked in. nothing. It was a very hot night and air on would have been nice. None. Nothing. Distinct lack of cooking utensils, only the bare minimum. Internet access is through restaurant, unless you want to pay extra. In this day and age this is a big downer. Only one tv. Outside of hotel is being renovated - and was a bit of a put off in the 'curb appeal' department. The cleaning staff took forever to come to our rooms. Mostly after midday which was very inconvenient for us. The only 2 flaws: No A/C in the room no gym. Lounge Carpet Was Filthy. Living Area Absolutely Stuffy. No Airconditioner. I was on my own so no issue but the whole no separation between the main room and the en-suite would have been an issue. breakfast very average and totally overpriced. outrageous to charge R90 for an 8 yr old child. only one cereal available which he didn't like. there was nothing else for him to eat so we resorted to giving him pasta for breakfast! Room wasn't serviced on one day of our 4 day stay. Main bedroom' toilet has no door, no A/C. Nothing in particular. I stayed only one night !. Small pool Bad experience with hotel booked taxi. Option to do our own laundry in the apartments, but it was not a big issue for us at all. The lack of supersport and an iron. Carpets weren't clean. sink had poor drainage ; slow emptying. No hand shower. Nothing to dislike. Location. Initially they provided us a key to an apartment that was already occupied by a couple. It was embarrassing walking in and facing their "What the hell are you doing here?" face. The couple was forgiving and understood what happened but depending on who was there or what was going on inside the apartment things could really get messy... I didnt like the idea of bathroom and toilet in the bedroom without any wall or glass between. To much noise in the early morning hours! Need to be using more security matters. Boom gate to be use for people who booked in only!. The toilet without the partition that separates it from the bedroom.It think there should be another TV in the master bedroom so that a guest can watch early news in the comfort of his bed. No airconditioning. Location is a bit out of the way. Braai facilities and pool advertised are nowhere near completion! Staff could use some training. No tv in the room. No air conditioning.
